inSync Client activation fails due to a lack of trust between the Endpoints and the Domain controller.
Problem description
The system fails to connect to the cloud when manually activating an endpoint.
Below mentioned errors are observed:

Resolution
Follow the below steps to resolve the error.
Step 01: Selecting Workgroup
- Use a local administrator account to log on to the computer.
- Select Start, then press and hold (or right-click) Computer > Properties.
- Click to Change settings next to the computer name.
- On the Computer Name tab, select Change.
- Select Workgroup under the Member of heading, type a workgroup name and then select OK.
- The system will prompt for restart. Select OK to restart the device.
Step 02: Selecting Domain
- Once the device restarts as mention in Step 01, On the Computer Name tab, select Change again.
- Now, select Domain under the Member of heading and type a Domain name.
- Select OK, and enter user credentials who have permissions in the domain.
- The device will prompt for restart. Select OK to restart the device.
