Overview

This article explains how to back up the Downloads folder on Mac laptops and desktops using the inSync client.

Procedure

To back up the Downloads folder on Mac laptops and laptops, you have to add a custom folder in the profile. To add a custom folder in the profile:

1. Log in to the inSync Management Console and click Profiles on the menu bar. 

2. Click the profile where the user resides.

3. Under profiles, click Devices.

4. Select Laptops & Desktops and click Edit.

5. Click Mac. In the Mac configuration window, click Add Folder.

6. In the Folder to be backed up field, type %userprofile%/Downloads and then click Save.
