‘Password Error’ when activating inSync administrator account

Problem description

inSync administrators may get an error ‘Password Error’ when trying to activate their administrator account.



The link expires 24 hours after receiving this email.


The administrator needs to activate their administrator account within 24 hours of receiving the email. In situations where this did not happen, administrator can do the following to get a new activation email:

  1. Reach out to other Druva Cloud administrators to request a password reset for their administrator account.

  2. If the first and only administrator account for a new inSync instance has never activated their account, they can reach out to Druva Support to get a new activation email.
