Failed to enable a device from inSync Management Console

Problem description

inSync Administrator fails to enable a device from the inSync Management Console. For example, the error message displayed for a device name DDSPL1527 is displayed as follows:

Cause

The error occurs when the inSync Administrator tries to enable a device of a user in a preserved state.

Resolution

Activate the user associated with the device and subsequently enable the device.
