Unable to create new administrator - Email address already registered

Problem description

When you create a new administrator you get the following error message:

"Email address already registered."


This error occurs when the email address is already in use by another administrator.


  1. Check if the administrator already exists with the same email address in your Druva inSync instance. 


  1. Now one administrator can be noticed in the above image; however, make sure you are logged in as Druva Cloud administrator, not as product administrator.

  2. When you are logged in as Druva Cloud Administrator you can see all the administrators in your instance.


  1. Verify if the administrator that we are trying to create already exists.

  2. After you ensure that the administrator with the same email address is not added in your instance. Contact Druva Support to verify if this administrator is added in another instance.
