How to back up recent items from a Windows devices

- OS: Windows 7, 8, and 10
- Product edition: inSync Cloud and On-Premise
Overview
This article provides the procedure to back up recent items created on Windows devices.
Back up recent items from Windows devices
- Log in to the inSync Management Console and click Profiles on the menu bar.
- Click the profile name associated with the Windows devices.
- Open the Devices tab and click Edit. The Edit Profile window opens.
- Click on the Windows tab and click +Add Folder.
- Enter the following under Folder to be backed up:
%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\
- Add All files or extension *.lnk under Include files.
- Click Save.
