Overview

This article describes the steps to get critical inSync alerts on slack channel.

By default, all the administrators get email notification of critical alerts like AD connection status, Cloud apps status etc

This configuration will help you to get those alerts on slack channel for better visibility.

Configuration

1. Create a Slack Channel

2. Generate email address for Slack channel. Click on Send emails to channel then Get email address and copy the email address

3. Go to Druva console https://login.druva.com/login and login as DCP admin

4. Go to Manage Administrators > create an administrator with ‘slack channel email address.’

5. Go to Manage Alerts and click on Settings and Subscriptions.

6. Select any critical alert and click on Edit.

7. Under Send email notifications to (subscribers), add the slack channel administrator.

8. Click Save.
