Multiple inSync Share entries in Finder on Mac

Overview

After installing inSync Client on the Mac operating system, the Finder shows multiple inSync Share entries as shown in the following screenshot.

The issue occurs even after deleting the inSync Share entries from the Finder and rebooting the machine.

Cause

This issue occurs with the inSync Client for Mac prior to version 5.8.

Resolution

Upgrade the inSync Client to version 5.8 or latest.
