Issue: A user is not able to activate inSync Client or access inSync Web from corporate device

The group policy object has failed and the user certificate is not installed on the corporate device.

Resolution

To manually install a user certificate on the corporate device

  1. On the corporate device, launch the Microsoft Management Console and add the user certificate.
  2. Select the template that was configured for enterprise users. For example. the “ADFS user” is the user template that is rolled out from the enterprise CA.

The inSync user can now access inSync Web or activate inSync Client from the corporate device.
