File Server Details page



Overview
This topic provides instructions for viewing and editing the File server details using the Server Details page.
Access Path
- On the menu bar, click All Organizations, and select the required organization from the drop-down list.
- On the menu bar, click Protect > Windows/Linux Servers.
The Windows/Linux Servers page opens with a list of registered servers. - Click the File Backup Sets tab.
- In the Server Name column, click the server name for which you want to view details. The unconfigured server names are not clickable.
The Server details page opens.

Field Description
The following table lists the fields on the Server Details page.
Field | Description |
---|---|
FQDN/Hostname | The fully qualified domain name or hostname of the server. |
Connection Status | The current connection status of the server. |
OS | The operating system running on the server. |
Client Version | Displays version of the Phoenix agent running on the server. |
Source + Changes (total) |
The total size of the backup data generated at the source. This size includes the initial full backup and incremental data from all subsequent backups. |
Current Source (total) | The total size of the data on the source server at the time of the last backup. |
# Snapshots | The total hot, warm, and cold snapshots for the File Server. The thawed snapshots are counted as warm snapshots. |
Administrative group |
The administrative group associated with the server. Click the link to change or remove the administrative group. |
File Backup Sets | |
Backup Set Type | The type of backup sets, such as File, MS-SQL, associated with the server. |
Backup Enabled | The status of the backup policy. |
Last Run Full Scan | The date and timestamp details of the latest full scan backup executed. |
Next Scheduled Full Scan | The date and timestamp details of the next full scan scheduled for backup. |
Backup Configuration | |
Storage | The storage configured for the server. |
Backup Policy | The name of backup policy associated with the backup set. |
Content Rule | The name of the content rule associated with the backup set. |
CloudCache | The name of the CloudCache configured with the server. |
Backup Folders | The list of folders that should be backed up. |
Backup Only | The files from the selected folders that should be backed up. |
Backup all the files except | The list of files you have selected to exempt from backup. |
Backup & Restore |
The Backup & Restore section displays backup and Restore jobs for the last 7 days with the following three status:

Backup Data |
The Backup Data area illustrates the following data for the last 90 days:

Actions
The following table lists the actions on the Server Details page.
Action | Description |

Add File Backup Set |
Click the button to add a new File backup set to the selected server. |
More Actions |
Click the button to select options to edit the server name, upgrade the client, re-register the server, or delete the server. |
Backup Now |
Click the button to start the backup of the server. For more information, see Manually back up a File server. |
Restore |
Click the button to start the restoring the server. For more information, see Restore a File server to the original server and Restore a File server to an alternate server. |
More |
Click the button to edit the content rule and backup policy, enable or disable the scheduled backup, or delete the backup set. For more information, see Disable and enable backup of backup set. |
