Manage Content Rules details page

Overview

This topic provides instructions for viewing and editing the content rule details using the Content rule page.  

Access Path

  1.  On the menu bar, click All Organizations, and select the required organization from the drop-down list
  2. On the menu bar, click Protect > Windows/Linux servers.
  3. In the left pane, click Content Rules.
    In the right pane, click the content rule that you want to view or edit.

The Content Rules details page consists of the following tabs:

Summary

In the Summary tab you can view the summary details of a content rule. The summary includes the Included and Excluded folders and the Included File Types and Excluded File Types. You can also Edit or Delete a content rule from this tab.

Field Description

Field Description
Included Folders The folders selected for backup
Excluded Folders The folders excluded from backup.
Included File Types The file types included in the backup.
Excluded File Types The file types excluded from backup

Actions

Action Description

Delete

Click the button to delete the content rule.

Edit  Click the Edit button to edit the content rule name and backup content like the folders and file types to be included and excluded.

 Servers

Under the Servers tab, you can view the list of servers added in the content rule.

Field Description 

The following table lists the fields on the Servers tab.

Field Description
Name The name of the server attached to the content rule. For more information on servers, see File Server Details page.
Administrative Group The administrative group associated with each server.
