If you are an existing customer using Salesforce App, you may need to update the permissions in the Salesforce environment.

- ► Does Salesforce Data Archiver perform a soft delete?

Yes. The records are not permanently deleted. The records can still be accessed from the Salesforce Recycle Bin for 15 days.
