Backup Activity Report

Backup Activity Report provides a comprehensive list of all backup operations performed for resources of the workloads configured in the organizations. It gives insights into the status of each backup job run for each resource, based on which MSPs can perform analysis and take corrective actions. For example, if the backup operation fails because of the exceeding quota, MSPs may go ahead and buy additional credits based on the consumption requirements.

The combination of global customer ID, customer name, and account name gives you a powerful tool to identify customer-specific entries in a large dataset. In addition, you can use the service plan filter to customize the report to focus on service plan-specific alerts.

  • The MSC fetches data of reports within a maximum of 6 to 12 hours

  • It might take 24 to 48 hours for the data to appear in this report if a new customer or tenant is added to MSC.

To access the report:

Go to Managed Services Center (MSC) > Reports > Hybrid Workloads > Backup Activity Report.

Note:  The report is displayed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
