You can edit or delete mappings from the Mappings details page.
- On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Users > Deployment. The list of existing Azure AD mappings is displayed on the Azure AD mappings page under the Mappings tab.
- Click on the Azure AD Mapping Name that you want to modify. Azure AD mapping details are displayed.
- Edit: You can only modify the Mapping Name and Backup Configuration. You cannot modify the criteria to filter users.
- Delete: Deleting an Azure AD mapping only deletes the Azure AD mapping in inSync. The users that were imported using the Azure AD mapping continue to exist in inSync.
Note: If a user gets deleted from Azure AD, then the user status is changed to Preserved from Active on the inSync Management Console.
Updates to an existing Azure AD mapping are logged and displayed in the administrator audit trails. Audit trails is a feature that is part of the Data Governance offering. For more information, see View audit trail for administrators.
