Protect the inSync mobile app access with a PIN

Supported inSync mobile app versions:3.5 or later

Setting up a PIN for your inSync mobile app adds an extra layer of security to protect the inSync mobile app from unauthorized access. Each time you open the inSync mobile app, inSync prompts you for your PIN.

If your inSync administrator enables the Use Pin feature for you, when you log on to the inSync mobile app, inSync prompts you to set a PIN for your inSync mobile app. If your inSync administrator did not enable the Use Pin feature for you, the inSync mobile app does not prompt you to set a PIN when you log on to the inSync mobile app.

On an Android device, there is no limitation to the number of times you can enter the wrong PIN. To continue using the inSync mobile app, you must reinstall the app on your device.

Note: When you uninstall the app, you lose your custom configuration settings and the files that you saved for offline viewing. You must reconfigure the inSync mobile app again.
