Create inSync administrators

This topic contains information on the types of administrators for inSync Cloud and instructions on how you can create them in inSync. Only a Cloud administrator can create other administrators.
Considerations
- A Druva Cloud Administrator can be created only through the Druva Cloud Platform Console. Click
to access the Global Navigation Panel > Home to launch the Druva Cloud Platform Console . See Manage Druva administrators for more information. - All other administrators can be created through the inSync Management Console and the Druva Cloud Platform Console.
- Druva recommends that you create at least two Druva Cloud Administrator within your organization. A second Druva Cloud Administrator is required to reset the password if the primary Druva Cloud Administrator forgets the password.
- After you set your new password, ensure you keep the password secure and remember it. Druva does not have access to your data and cannot reset your account password if you forget it. Only the Druva Cloud Administrators and Cloud Administrator can reset the password of other administrators in your organization.
- You can create administrators with access granular access rights to specific workload(s). For example, an Administrator for the Endpoints will have rights only related to Endpoints. Similarly, an administrator for Microsoft 365 > Exchange Online, will have access to only Exchange Online and to no other workloads.
- Apart from Cloud and Legal Admin, when you create any other inSync Admin ensure the following:
- Ensure that the workload for which you want to create the administrator is licensed.
- Discovery is completed for all the org-level apps (SharePoint, Teams, Public folder, and Shared Drives).
