Support for macOS Monterey 12 and Windows 11 with inSync Client 7.0.1

Now experience seamless endpoint data protection for macOS Monterey12 and Windows 11 OS. Druva has qualified the inSync Client v7.0.1 on macOS Monterey OS 12 and Win 11.

Alert! End of support for Windows 7

With inSync Client7.0.1, Windows 7 SP1 (32/64 bit) will not be supported. As a result, you will not be able to backup data on devices running on Windows 7 operating system.

Fixed Issues

Issue Description
INS-39796 Fixed an issue where creating an admin account gives “Failed to create administrator. Unable to fetch attribute from Active Directory” error.

inSync Client 7.0.1 for GovCloud 

The following enhancements are available with this release dated October 11, 2021.

Prevent users from canceling ongoing backups

Now get total control over preventing the end-users from canceling the scheduled or manually triggered backups!

You can now use the Cancel Backup option in the Edit Device Configuration window within inSync Profiles which allows administrators to control whether or not users can cancel an ongoing backup.

With this feature, the control of data backup will rest with the administrator through which they can eliminate the instances of data loss.

Failsafe inSync Client auto-upgrade

inSync Client upgrade is now equipped with a safeguard mechanism that will perform an auto-roll back to the previous inSync Client version if the auto-upgrade process fails.

This ensures that all user configurations and data remain intact and the devices continue to backup as usual. For more information see, Upgrade the inSync Client.

You can track the status of auto-upgrade for active devices in the Upgrade activity report. To know more see, the Upgrade Activity Report.

Enhancements to data restore

inSync administrators and end-users can restore the data to the original location across devices when the user has more than one device configured. You can restore the data to the original location across the devices of the same OS platform.

INS-14039

Fixed an issue for the MAPI restore where the MAPI restores failed frequently.

INS-25497

A command execution vulnerability in the local HTTP server, wherein an untrusted filename parameter is received and is passed without any validation has been fixed.

INS-25496

A code injection vulnerability via DYLD library linking was identified in the macOS client and has been fixed by altering app entitlements and restricting dynamic library loading via environment variables.

INS-25493

Fixed a security vulnerability for de-serialization by changing the signature format to the non-binary protocol which will now restrict suspicious upgrade package signature.

INS-18820

Fixed an issue in the inSync Client log and inSync Client UI where it showed a masked error and not the actual error.

INS-20142

Fixed an issue in the client log wherein the log does not specify the correct restore status in case of device refresh.

INS-22600

Fixed an issue for the SSO, wherein login failed, when the proxy setup is enabled for the user.

INS-24905

Fixed an issue for the activation failure, wherein the activation failed on devices with a large number of certificates.

inSync GovCloud update on October 09, 2021

With this cloud update, we bring you the following enhancements:

SaaS Apps

Microsoft 365

Protect Microsoft 365 GCC High (Government Community Cloud High) on GovCloud

You can now protect M365 GCC High on Druva FedRAMP Moderate GovCloud. 

The following M365 GCC High workloads are protected:

  • Exchange Online

  • OneDrive

  • SharePoint Online

  • Teams

  • Public folder

Note: Microsoft 365 GCC High is supported only with the Druva Microsoft 365 Elite license. With this license, you get all the benefits of secure data protection of your M365 tenant but you can also take advantage of features such as Federated Search, Defensible Deletion (of Exchange Online and OneDrive), and Legal Hold.

Protect Exchange Online archival properties for archival emails

For Exchange Online, you can now protect the following archival properties for emails from the Archive mailbox: 

  • ItemClass

  • Sensitivity

  • WebClientReadFormQueryString

How does this benefit?

With this enhancement, you now have a broader data protection coverage for your Exchange Online archived emails wherein, you can backup and restore emails with archival properties.

Introducing search filters

inSync administrators can quickly narrow down and review specific Teams’ backup status based on built-in filters such as App Status, Team type, and Team Status. This enables the administrators to promptly take the corrective action needed to protect critical Teams’ data effectively.

Support for restore of Channel Tabs

inSync administrators now have an option to restore Tabs within a Team's Channel other than the standard tabs such as Conversations (Posts), Files, and Wiki.

You can now perform an In-Place restore of the entire Tabs folder or single and multiple specific Tabs with their original name and associated apps within them.

This capability is helpful when there is a requirement to restore Tabs in the Microsoft 365 tenant account due to accidental deletion of the Tabs or data corruption during a ransomware attack.

Improvement for managing Archived Teams 

When Teams are archived, all activities on Teams and access to the Private Channel and Tabs API are disabled. Hence, when you perform backups of Archived Teams from inSync, the backup of Private Channel and Tabs (App info) fails.

The administrators are now notified to refrain from backup and restore of Archived Teams through the messages displayed for:

  • Backup snapshots of Archived Teams does not contain Private Channel and Tabs (App info)

  • Restore is not supported from and to Archived Teams

Intending to allow inSync administrators quick and easy access to backup snapshots, we now provide you a convenient and straightforward option to select backup snapshots for restore - Restore Data button.

Platform

You can now create a dedicated workload administrator and allow administrators to manage backup and restores for specific workloads as authorized by the cloud administrator.  Also, the administrator will have access only to the assigned workloads through the refreshed workload-based user interface.

Configure administrators for specific workloads

To help meet your compliance regulations, you can now ensure that administrators have workload-based granular access rights only to the workloads they should manage.

►Create a dedicated Workload administrator

You can create a dedicated Workload administrator to manage operations for specific workloads. 

For example, a Workload administrator for the Endpoints will have operational rights only related to Endpoints. Similarly, a Workload administrator for Microsoft 365 > Exchange Online, will have access to only Exchange Online and to no other workload. As part of this change:

  • A Workload Administrator role is added with predefined access rights for workload management and backup and restore. For more information, see inSync administrator roles.

    The following image provides a preview of the Workload Administrator role.

  • When you create a workload administrator you can assign the specific workloads. For more information, see Create a Workload Administrator.

    Here’s a quick preview of the administrator creation process.

Configure inSync administrators with access to specific workloads
Similar to a Workload administrator, you can configure existing inSync administrators (excluding Cloud administrator and Legal administrator) with rights to access specific workloads.

The Workloads tab is added to the New Administrator creation wizard.

Leverage updated categories for predefined roles and rights
To support granular access rights for workloads, the categories of rights for predefined roles are updated.

For more information, see Predefined roles and rights.

Note: None of the existing rights are deprecated. Thus, there will be no impact on the roles you have already configured.

Administrator Details and Profile Mapping report displays the list of workloads assigned to an administrator in the Workload Assigned field.

Workload-based product experience

The administrator experience is simplified for viewing and managing only the workloads they are assigned and based on the roles and rights. The workload-based product experience provides:

Instead of a common inSync dashboard, you will now be able to monitor your workloads from the dedicated dashboards designed for each workload.

Instead of listing all the inSync workload under a common inSync category on the Druva Cloud Platform, there will be separate categories:

  • Endpoints
  • SaaS Apps

In-app view of jobs
Instead of the Availability menu, you can now monitor backup jobs, restore jobs, and live activities from the interface of the respective workload.
  • In the case of SaaS Apps, jobs can be accessed from the left pane.

    The Jobs page displays the completed backup and restores job status for the following workloads:
    • Google Workspace - Gmail and Google Drive

    • Microsoft 365 - Exchange Online and OneDrive
       
  • In the case of Endpoints, jobs can be accessed from the top navigation bar.

The following changes will be available:
  • Workload selection capability in the Data Sources menu will be available in the  image2.png global navigation menu as demonstrated in the Workload-based user experience.
  • Services in the Governance menu will now be available in the  image2.png global navigation menu as demonstrated in the Workload-based user experience. Audit trails will still be available on the top navigation bar. 
  • The Availability menu will be removed from inSync Management Console with the in-app Job view enhancement. 
  • Options under the Manage menu are moved to image17.png Settings. 

Enhancements to restore endpoint data API

We have enhanced the Initiate a Restore Activity API by introducing an additional input parameter that, when selected, scans the data for potential threats before restoring the data to the intended location. 

You can now rest assured that the data restored using inSync APIs is safe and free from viruses, malware, and threats.

Note: This feature is applicable only when you have licensed Ransomware Recovery for your organization.

eDiscovery: RBAC Legal Hold Type management

Legal administrators can now manage (add, edit, or delete) the Legal Hold Type from the Legal Hold > Settings page.

We have introduced the following rights for a Legal administrator role,  

  • View Legal Hold Settings - Only view access
  • Manage Legal Hold Settings - View, add, edit, and delete access

Legal administrators can perform actions on the Legal Hold Type from the Legal Hold > Settings page based on the role and rights assigned.

In large enterprises, where multiple Legal administrators manage different legal and forensic teams, this enhancement helps create role-based access (RBAC) for easier management of Legal Hold Types.

Action required: While creating a role for Legal administrators, ensure that you enable the necessary rights for the Legal administrator role based on your organizations' requirements.

Granular access for legal administrators

Cloud administrators can now group Legal Hold policies by their type and provide Legal administrators access based on the policy type. 

Legal administrators with different roles will now be restricted only to the policy type that they have been assigned. Only Cloud administrators can create, manage, and assign policy types, ensuring there is no overlap between the data that different Legal administrators can access.  

As a Legal administrator, this change ensures that you have complete control over the Legal Hold policies that you manage and restrict other administrators from viewing them. This helps the organization maintain the right amount of access required during legal investigations and stay compliant with different data privacy regulations.

Action Required: Assign a type to each Legal Hold policy. This will ensure that you can provide Legal administrators access to the necessary policy types. For more information, see Manage a legal hold policy.

Cloud Platform

Automatic deletion of administrator accounts registered with Druva Inc domain

If you have created an administrator account for Druva personnel for product onboarding or technical support, you can now be rest assured that Druva will notify you about such administrator accounts and automatically delete these as well. 

This enhancement helps you have improved alignment with regulations related to data access.

What is the customer action required?

If you see a notification about deleting the administrators registered with Druva Inc. domain within your organization, you can review the account deletion schedule on the Administrator listing page and delete the accounts manually. 

If no action is taken, these administrator accounts will be automatically deleted as per the schedule displayed on the Administrator listing page

Public folder: Fixed the issue wherein the auto-discovery process fails for backup of multiple public folders.

Fixed the issue wherein the data source statistics displayed on the Druva Cloud Platform Console were not matching with the actual number of data sources present in inSync for a few customers.

SharePoint: Fixed the issue wherein the backup of a SharePoint site collection excludes a few files and folders and displays ‘Backed up Successfully’ as the backup status.

Exchange Online: Fixed the issue wherein the storage consumption statistics for Exchange Online users were displayed incorrectly on the Profile page.

INS-25674

Teams: The data restore of a Team Site fails when you restore to a different Team. This failure occurs if the associated SharePoint Site of the destination Team is in a different geo-location than the source Team Site.

INS-23157

Fixed the issue wherein the users put on legal hold were not getting deleted from inSync when attempting to delete manually or through inSync APIs.

INS-19420

Fixed the issue wherein some customers were experiencing issues receiving the inSync Complete Report as per the subscribed schedule and frequency.

INS-22721

When an administrator tries to search for a file or folder for a user using the Search box on the Restore Data page and presses enter instead of the Search button, inSync incorrectly redirects the administrators to the Users Details page.

The status of the preserved users did not change to active automatically after the corresponding Active Directory (AD) accounts were re-enabled.

When downloading a large amount (approximately more than 60 GB) of Exchange Online data in PST and MBOX format, the download failed.

INS-22734

Users were unable to log in to the inSync mobile app for Android and iOS using SSO (Single Sign-On). This issue was only observed for Druva MSP customers.

Legal Hold: Fixed the timestamp error issue encountered when you download Mac data using eDiscovery Download Client on a Windows device.

When you create a custom role, and if you don't select a role from the Import Rights from the drop-down list, you are not allowed to create the role. 
Workaround: You must select a role (apart from Legal Admin) and proceed with the role creation.

DCP - 4935

Administrators (apart from Druva Cloud Administrator) cannot update the Name field when they edit the administrator details.

Workaround: The Druva Cloud Administrator can update the Name for other administrators.

Teams: Log File updates to view backup and restore details

We have now enhanced the log files generated using the Activity Stream > Download Logs to provide an enriched summary of the backup or restore activities for each of the log files associated with Teams Settings, Channels, Conversations, and SharePoint data sources.

With this enhancement, you will now see the Enhanced Stats section within the downloaded log file for Team Metadata and Team Conversation backup and restore activities. The Enhanced Stats section provides details about the exact number of items backed up or restored.

This information helps administrators with further analysis and troubleshooting and take corrective action to ensure business continuity.

SharePoint: Improvements to Live Activities

You can now monitor the progress of SharePoint backups with the help of real-time backup statistics. The SharePoint backup status from inSync Management Console -> Live Activities page now displays additional statistics to gain more insights about ongoing activities.

  • Identify the type and mode of backup.

  • Check the health of the ongoing activity using the API throttling statistics.

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Exchange Online and Gmail: New option to exclude folders from backup

You can now choose the data that you backup for Exchange Online and Gmail using inSync.

While creating or updating a profile, you can use the Exclude Paths option to add a folder name or relative paths to the folders you want to exclude from backups for all Gmail or Exchange Online users associated with the profile. This helps optimize backups and reduces the risk of backing up non-critical data.

Teams and SharePoint Online enhancements

Teams: Support for restore of Private Channel folder to the original location

You can now do an “In-Place Restore” of the Private Channel folder (within Teams) to its original location. This is useful when there is a requirement to restore a Private Channel (to the original location) in the Microsoft 365 tenant account due to accidental deletion of the Private Channel folder or data corruption during a ransomware attack.

Because of  Microsoft API limitations, you cannot restore Private Channel folder data within Teams using Restore as a Copy. However, if required, Restore as a Copy is supported for Files, Wiki, or Conversation within the Private Channel.

Note: Because of Microsoft API limitations, Team Private Channel restore (for Private Channel folder) is limited  to ‘In-Place’ restore only. You cannot restore the Private Channel folder to another existing or new Team.

Teams: Introducing new restore status in Activity Stream filters for Team Metadata and Conversations

We have now added a new status - Restored With Errors within Activity Stream filters. With this option, you can,

  • Filter and view a list of Teams for which Team Metadata and Team Conversations restore were partially successful.

  • Download Logs for these Teams and take corrective action to ensure business continuity.

Note: For Team Site and Private Channel Site, Resorted With Errors status is displayed when Sharepoint site is partially successful.

Teams and SharePoint Online: Improvement for managing deleted Teams and SharePoint sites

When a Team or SharePoint site gets deleted from Microsoft 365, inSync automatically updates these Teams and SharePoint sites' app status to Disabled post-discovery. The discovery and scheduled backup for these Teams and SharePoint sites are excluded in the subsequent discovery and backup cycle, thus ensuring that inSync protects only the required data.

We have separated Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace licenses for all inSync Cloud license editions (Enterprise, Elite, and Elite Plus). This license separation is beneficial to streamline license procurement based on Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace's correct license utilization details.

[Early Access] Public folder: Support for restore of Tasks

The availability of this feature may be limited based on the license type, region, and other criteria. To access this feature, contact your Druva Account Manager or Support.

We have now added the capability to restore Tasks and their Settings through the inSync Management Console. 

 This feature is useful when there is a requirement to restore Tasks to the original location or restore it as a copy in the Microsoft 365 tenant account in case of accidental deletion of Public folder data or data corruption during a ransomware attack.

Microsoft 365- [Early Access] Public folder: Exclude non-critical data for faster backups

The availability of this feature may be limited based on the license type, region, and other criteria. To access this feature, contact your Druva Account Manager or Support.

 Backing up large Public folder data is a time-consuming activity. To enable faster backups, inSync administrators can now consider excluding non-critical contents in Public folders from backup.

inSync administrators can use the Exclude Paths feature available under Backup Settings for exclusion while configuring the Public folder for data protection. This ensures that only the critical data gets backed up and enables faster Public folder backups.

[Early Access] Public folder: Support for restore of Calendars and Contacts

We have now added the capability to restore Calendars and Contacts and their settings through the inSync Management Console. 

This feature helps administrators restore Public folder Calendars and Contacts to the original location or restore it as a copy in the Microsoft 365 tenant account in case of accidental deletion of Public folder data or data corruption during a ransomware attack.

Microsoft 365 - Introducing Azure Active Directory (AD) Integration with inSync

Simplified user management for Users and Shared Mailbox users is here!

You can now integrate Azure AD with inSync for M365 protection and import users directly from your Azure AD. The benefits of this integration include:

  • A seamless experience without adding the SCIM app in Azure AD.

  • Easy management of Microsoft 365 users wherein administrators can:

    • Set-up automatic (Auto) import of users with Azure AD mapping configuration in inSync.

    • Quickly import users manually using the Import Users from Azure AD option.

This feature helps you in the following scenarios:

  • If there is a requirement to restore the Public folder contents to the original location or restore it as a copy in the Microsoft 365 tenant account.

  • If a Public folder is deleted and does not exist in Microsoft 365 tenant, you can restore the deleted Public folder and its contents to a new Public folder with the same name.

SharePoint Online: Configuration of Druva for SharePoint Online sites (in Microsoft 365 Multi-Geo tenants)

You can now leverage the Multi-Geo Storage Mapping to assign storage to SharePoint sites through Add Site Collection and Configure Site Backup workflow in inSync Management Console. With this enhancement, you can automatically set storage based on the SharePoint site's geo location using the Add Site Collection and Configure Site Backup wizards. This feature eliminates administrators' need to manually select and assign storage in scenarios wherein there are multiple Druva storages for Multi-Geo tenants.

inSync administrators can quickly view activity logs for all or specific Teams’ Private Channel Site backup and restore status using the built-in filters such as Type and Site Title. This enables the administrators to promptly take the corrective action needed to protect critical Teams Private Channel Site data effectively.

Microsoft 365: Multi-Geo support for SharePoint Online and Teams

We are excited to announce support for protecting SharePoint Online and Teams data for Microsoft 365 Multi-Geo tenants. This feature helps administrators meet their data residency requirements such as:

  • Automatically discover all the sites (SharePoint and Teams' sites) from each geo location.

  • Automatically identify new geo locations enabled in Microsoft 365 tenants.

  • Automate the storage assignment for the discovered sites and not configured sites from all the mapped geo locations.

Microsoft 365- Sharepoint Online: Advanced restore capabilities

Choose the restore location of your choice!

While restoring the SharePoint Online data, you can now use the following restore capabilities:

  • Restore to the same site: Restore data of a site to the same site in your Microsoft 365 tenant from a point in time snapshot.

  • Restore to a different site: Share data between sites. Restore data of a site to any other site in your Microsoft 365 tenant from a point in time snapshot

  • Restore to a new site: Create a site with a site title of your choice and restore the entire data from any point in time snapshot.

These advanced restore capabilities help administrators in the following scenarios:

  • If a site is in a Purged state, you can either choose to restore this site with the same Title and URL or restore it as a completely new site with a new title.

  • If there is a requirement within your organization to recover the backed-up site contents to another existing site or a new site.

OneDrive: New option to exclude files and folders from backup

You now have better control over the OneDrive data backed up using inSync.

While creating or updating a profile, you can use the Exclude Paths option to add a file or folder name or relative paths to the files and folders you want to exclude from backups for all OneDrive users associated with the profile. This helps optimize backups and reduces the risk of backing up non-critical files.

Google Workspace

Google Drive: New option to exclude files and folders from backup 

You now have better control over the Google Drive data backed up using inSync.

While creating or updating a profile for backup, you can use the Exclude Paths option to add a file or folder name or relative paths to the files and folders you want to exclude from backups for all Google Drive users associated with the profile. G Suite rebranded as Google Workspace in inSync

Aligning with Google’s recent rebranding, we have renamed all instances of G Suite to Google Workspace in the inSync Management Console.

Google Drive: Option to selectively backup owner's data or shared data owned by other users

You can now leverage the new option “Backup shared data owned by other users” within the Profile tab and choose to backup either the owner’s data or shared data owned by other users.

To back up all the Google Drive data (owner’s data and shared data from other users), select the Backup shared data owned by other users checkbox in the Profile tab.

To back up only the owner’s data, deselect Backup shared data owned by other users checkbox in the Profile tab. This helps you with faster incremental backups and a better restore experience.

Note: For existing inSync Google Drive administrators, the Backup shared data owned by other users checkbox is selected by default.

Action required for existing administrators: Deselect the Backup shared data owned by other users checkbox provided in the Profiles tab for optimized backups.

User identification simplified with custom attribute

Identifying users within your inSync user base now becomes super easy, especially when the user base is relatively large and may have users with the same username or similar email address.

You now have the option to configure User-Identifier Custom Attribute which, when configured, maps the unique attribute from your registered AD/LDAP and is displayed on the inSync UI. This helps you quickly identify specific users within inSync and take administrative actions for the intended user accounts. Learn more.

UX enhancements - User management and deployment centralized

Introducing a refreshed and intuitive Users page that gives you unified control over inSync user management and user provisioning, all of that in one place! With this update, the User Deployment page is now merged within the Users page and is no longer available within Manage > Deployments.

Be it user management activities or configuring and managing AD/LDAP, SCIM, or Azure AD based mappings, the enhanced Users page gives you better administration control overall.

 New filters to manage inSync users

On the Users page, now you can filter users based on their state (such as preserved, active), legal hold status, and share status (Enabled/Disabled). You can then take bulk actions on those users, such as select and preserve a set of users.

The new filters make it easier for you to manage inSync users and perform the desired action on a set of filtered users. For more information, see Users Page.

Introducing storage support for the Nordic and South Africa region 

We have added a new data storage location for the Nordic region to add more flexibility to data storage requirements, especially for the Druva customers located across the Nordic countries and South Africa region.

Having local storage shall undoubtedly keep the data latency to a minimum and help you backup and retrieve data relatively faster. Also, we are sure this will help you stay on top of the organization’s compliance and regulatory requirements too!

A new user interface for user management using SCIM

The newly redesigned user interface for user provisioning and management using SCIM has a modern and intuitive experience for easy access. It also simplifies administrator tasks such as creating new mappings and managing users in inSync.

Governance & Compliance

Legal Hold - Check the integrity of the downloaded data

In legal matters, the consistency of the data is of utmost importance. You should be able to prove in the court of law that the data did not change over a period of time. 

For example, the checksum of a file downloaded using the eDiscovery Download Client should match the checksum of its copy stored in the Druva Cloud snapshot in that same time frame. If the checksum is the same, it will prove that the data was not tampered with and will be considered reliable evidence. 

To aid you in this process, we have now introduced a data integrity check for data downloaded via eDiscovery Download Client v1.1.2 and later. When you download both data and metadata, Druva automatically verifies if the checksum of the data matches with the version stored in the cloud snapshot. Now you no longer need to feed the data to another tool or manually verify the files' integrity after they are downloaded. This saves time and effort and reduces overhead costs of tools required to verify the data's integrity. For more information, see Verify the integrity of the downloaded data.

Federated Search

Keep track of quarantine actions

Druva already logs all administrators' actions in the Admin Audit Trail. Now, we extend this capability to quarantine actions taken by administrators from Federated Search. This helps administrators keep track of the status of the action, such as successful or failed, and assists Infosec and Data Compliance administrators during audits and data investigations.

The quarantine actions are now also available as a part of the inSync Events API that you have configured with SIEM tools. Use these new events to build custom reports or fetch the data and display it on a dashboard. For more information, see How to search backed up files.

Realize

inSync Compliance - Enable end-users to manage violations

inSync Compliance administrators can now enable end-users (inSync Client users) to view and take action on the compliance violations raised against their data. You, as an administrator, can configure the entire workflow of how a violation moves through various phases right from detection to resolution. This feature will help reduce the workload of the Compliance team of your organization and make violations management easier. 

End-users can quickly act on a violation as they are well aware of their data. Swift action reduces the time taken to resolve a violation and helps Compliance administrators focus on critical violations that require their attention. For more information, see Violation management for end-users.

Delete files from data source while quarantining a violation

While quarantining a file or email, now you can choose to delete the non-compliant files from their data sources. This ensures that you meet regulatory requirements of retaining copies of the file in snapshots and eliminate the risk of the non-compliant data being shared across other users in the organization. Enhancements

Improvements to restrict backups during Blackout Window

If you have configured a Blackout Window duration for user profiles, inSync now ensures that backup activity is not performed on the user devices during that duration. 

How does this improve the end-user experience?

  • An ongoing scheduled backup or a manually triggered backup will automatically pause if the backup enters into the Blackout Window duration.

  • Backups will remain in a paused state until the Blackout Window duration is complete.

  • End-users can resume a paused backup if they wish to.

  • Administrator-triggered manual backups are initiated only when the user devices are not identified within the Blackout Window duration.

  • The user-paused backup will not resume if the paused duration ends within a Blackout Window duration.

  • Backups that are interrupted due to connectivity issues are not resumed if the device is connected to a permitted network during the Blackout Window duration.

  • inSync Client interface displays upfront messaging for the paused backups.

Adaptive inSync menu back icon for macOS

Introducing the dynamic inSync menu bar icon for macOS Big Sur that automatically adapts the background color when switched between light mode and dark mode.

Workaround: To resolve this issue, you must perform a full scan backup. For more details, contact Support.
