Overview

Of the available SaaS Apps available in the market, inSync supports the following editions of SaaS Apps.

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud - The data or metadata is accessible using Salesforce's SOAP, REST, and Metadata APIs.

Exchange Online

  • Mailbox (Individual user and Shared)
  • Tasks within the Exchange Online server mailbox of a user.

Within tasks, inSync backs up the following:

  • Flagged items and tasks 
  •  Task attributes:
    • Subject
    •  Start Date
    • Due Date
    • Status
    • Priority
    • Reminders
  • Associated attachments: 
    • OneDrive
    • Group Files
    • Links
    • Outlook attachments
    • File uploaded from a device.
  • Notes folder within the Exchange Online server mailbox of a user
  • Calendar events

  • Emails with attachments
  • Archived emails with attachments
  • Recoverable Items folder

SharePoint Online

  • Team sites (Microsoft 365 Groups, and Team’s hidden sites)
  • Classic sites

Within a site, inSync backs up the following:

• Subsites

• Document Libraries

• Lists

• Templates

• Assets

• Pages

• Metadata associated with site collections, sites, libraries, list, templates, assets, folders, files, and permissions.

Note: Admin can create a copy of the site collection.

Gmail

  • Emails along with the attachments

Shared Drives
  • Shared Drives

    • Name of the Shared Drives

    • The following information for each of the team member

      • User Id

      • Name of the team member

      • Access rights of the team member

      • Account creation date of the team member

      • Active period of the team member account

    • Themes

    • Images

    • Settings

    • Trash

  • Shared Drives Content

    • Files

      • Supported MIME Types

      • File metadata

      • File sharing settings for both, internal as well as external users

    • Folders and sub-folders

      • Folder metadata

      • Details and activities that occur inside the folders.

Groups

The data backup is supported for the following group types (Private as well as public):

  • Microsoft 365 groups
  • Distribution groups
  • Security groups
  • Mail-enabled security groups

The backup includes the following components:

  • Groups Metadata: Name, email, type, membership type, privacy, created on, members and owners, groups settings, the sensitivity label

    Note: The owners of distribution groups and mail-enabled security groups are not backed up.

     

  • Site: All sites and subsites content, document libraries, lists, pages, and all metadata

*Federated Search is not supported for Tasks.
