Groups Backup and Restore Report

Overview

If you have configured Groups data for backup and restore, then you can find additional details in a report for backup and restore activities performed during a specific time period.

The Groups Backup and Restore Report helps you to understand the following:

  • List of backed up or restored groups
  • Backup or restore status
  • Date and time of the backup or restore activity
  • Date intervals considered for the backup and restore report
  • Data size of the backed up or restored group

View and Download report Edit section

To view and download the Groups Backup and Restore Report report:

  1. On the inSync Management Console, click Reports. The Manage Reports page appears.
  2. Click Groups Backup and Restore Report.
  3. Select your preferred option. You can either Email the report or Download the report in HTML or CSV format.

The Groups folder Backup and Restore Report displays the following statistics.

Description

Report Duration

The date intervals considered for the backup and restore report.

 

You can select the time period for the report from the dropdown list available at the top-right corner of the page.

Group Name

The name of the group, which was backed up or restored.

Activity

Details of the activity performed - Backup or restore

Activity Type

The type of activity.

Activity Time

The date and time of the backup or restore activity in DD MMM YYYY HH:MM format as per UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) time zone.

Activity Status

The status of the group site activity. The types of status are as follows:

  • Backed Up Successfully 
  • Backup Failed 
  • Backed Up With Errors 
  • Never backed up 
  • Restore Successful 
  • Restore Failed 
  • Restored with Errors 

Data Size (MB)

The size of the backed up or restored groups metadata.
