SaaS Apps Details Page

Lists all the SaaS Apps accounts of users that inSync is backing up, the backup status of the SaaS App account, and the amount of data that was backed up for that SaaS App account.

Overview

This page lists all the SaaS Apps accounts of users that inSync is backing up.

The following information is displayed on the details page:

  • The SaaS App name
  • The backup status of the SaaS App account
  • The amount of data that was backed up for that SaaS App account 

View SaaS Apps Details

Microsoft 365

Exchange Online and OneDrive

Field description

The following table lists the fields under the Exchange Online and OneDrive tabs.

Field Description
Search User Search for a user.
User Name The name of the user.
Last Completed Backup

The date and time when data was last backed up from the SaaS App. To view the status details, click on the status.

Click on the column header to sort the list as per the last completed backup timestamp.

Backup Data

The amount of data that inSync has backed up for that SaaS App account.

Click the column header to sort the list as per the backup data size.

App Status The status of the SaaS App account. 

The following symbols are displayed adjacent to the status of the device, based on their configuration.

Symbol Description
The device is on Legal Hold. For more information, see About Legal Hold.
Persona backup is configured for the device. For more information, see About Persona Backup.

Click the column header to sort the list alphabetically as per the app configuration status.

Last Backup Status

Backup status of the SaaS App.

Click on the column header to sort the list alphabetically as per the last backup status.

Status Details

Displays the error message indicating the reason for user data backup failure. Click the error message for more details. For more information, see SaaS Apps Error Messages

Click on the column header to sort the list. The sorting is not alphabetical and is done based on the error message.

Filters for Exchange Online and OneDrive

Click on the  Filter icon for SPO filters.png  to filter the user accounts as per the Last Backup Status and App Status.

The following table displays the available filter options as per the Last Backup Status and App Status.

Filters Options
Last Backup Status
  • Backed Up Successfully: All users for which the backup operation was successful.
  • Backed Up With Errors: All users for which the backup operation completed with some errors.
  • Backup Failed: All users for which the backup operation failed.
  • Never Backed Up: All users for which backup was never initiated.
  • Backup Throttled: All users for which the backup was throttled due to API throttling errors.
App Status
  • Disabled: All users for which backup is disabled.
  • Enabled: All users for which backup is enabled.

Actions 

Select the user by clicking the checkbox next to the User Name and perform the required actions as described in the following table.

Action Description
Backup Now Click Backup Now to start on-demand back up of the Cloud App account for the selected user.
Enable Click Enable to enable the backup of Cloud App account for the selected user. 
Disable Click Disable to disable the backup of Cloud App account for the selected user. 
Delete

Click Delete to remove the Cloud App user account from inSync. 

The backed up data cannot be restored if the Cloud App user account is deleted. 

 

SharePoint

The following table lists the fields under the SharePoint tab.

Field description

Field Description
Showing <Number> sites The total count of all the discovered SharePoint sites.

Search Title

Search for a specific SharePoint site. 

Note:  Search using wildcard character  is not supported.

Filter Filter out the specific SharePoint sites based on the Site Type, Last Backup Status, and Site Status filter criteria.
Title The name of the SharePoint site.
Site Type

The type of Site. 

  • Microsoft Teams Site
  • Microsoft 365 Group Site
  • Other Site
Last Completed backup The date and time when data was last backed up from the SharePoint site.
Backup Data The amount of data that inSync has backed up for that SharePoint site.
App Status The status of the SharePoint site. 
Last Backup Status The most recent backup status of the SharePoint site.
Status Details Shows the error code indicating the reason for SharePoint Site data backup failure.

Actions

Select the site title using the checkbox to perform the actions as described in the below table.

Field Description
Add Site Collection Click Add Site Collection to add a new site collection manually. 
Discover Sites Click Discover Sites to allow inSync to discover the site collections before the next auto-discovery cycle begins.

Auto Configuration 

Note: SharePoint Settings button renamed to Auto Configuration.

Click Auto Configuration to edit the discovery, storage, backup, and retention settings.
Delete Click Delete to delete the selected site.

Filters for SharePoint sites

 To start using filters, discover sites again. Note that this action will not impact any of your existing backup and restore settings. See Discover Sites manually.

Click on the  Filter icon for SPO filters.png  to filter and view only the Microsoft Teams sites or Microsoft 365 Group sites within SharePoint.

The following table lists the available options for the filter according to the  Site Type, Last Backup Status, and Site Status:

Filter Options

Site Type

  • MS Teams Sites: All the Microsoft Teams Sites in SharePoint.
  • M365 Groups Sites: All the Microsoft 365 Groups Sites in SharePoint.
  • MS Teams Private Channel Sites: All the Teams Private Channels sites in SharePoint.
  • Other Sites: All sites except Microsoft Teams Sites, Teams Private Channel Sites, and  Microsoft 365 Groups Sites.

Last Backup Status

  • Backed Up Successfully: All sites for which the backup operation was successful.
  • Backed Up With Errors: All sites for which the backup operation completed with some errors.
  • Backup Failed: All sites for which the backup operation failed.
  • Never Backed Up: All sites for which backup was never initiated.
App Status
  • Disabled: All sites for which backup is disabled.
  • Enabled: All sites for which backup is enabled.
  • Not Configured: All sites that are not configured for backup.

Select the required filter options as per your need and perform the required actions as described in the following table.

Field Description
Apply Click Apply to apply the selected filter options for the required view on the SharePoint listing page.
Reset Click Reset to remove all the filter options that you have applied.

Summary tab

Click on the site Title to view the SharePoint site details page.

Backup summary

The following table lists the fields in the Backup Summary section.

Field Description
Last Completed Backup The number of days from last completed backup. 
Last Backup Data The amount of data backed up during the last completed backup. 
Last Backup Status The status of the last backup displayed as Backed Up Successfully, or Backup Failed, or Never Backed Up. 
Total Backup Data The total amount of data backed up by inSync for the site collection to date.

Storage consumption

The storage consumption section shows how the storage consumption for the site collection has changed over the last 90 days. When you hover the mouse pointer over a particular place in the chart, you can see the storage consumed on a day. 

The Summary tab also contains the Site Details and the Site Settings sections which are described as following. 

Site details

The following table lists the fields in the Site Details section.

Field Description
Site Title The name of the Site Title.
Site Type The type of SharePoint site.
Site URL The web address of the site.
Status The site status displayed as Enabled or Disabled.
Added on The date and time on which the site was added to inSync. 
M365 Geo Location The geographical location of the selected site.

Site settings

By default, the backup and retention criteria for site settings are set to the Auto Configuration settings.

  • Click the Edit button to customize the site settings. 

The following table lists the fields in the Site Settings section.

Field Description
Backup Frequency The frequency of backup. 
Storage The assigned storage region. 
Retention Settings  
Retain daily backups for The number of days for which the daily backups will be retained. 
Retain weekly backups for The number of weeks for which the weekly backups will be retained. 
Retain monthly backups for The number of months for which the monthly backups will be retained. 
File Exclusions The file extensions and formats which are not considered for backup. 

Relative URL Paths

The folder path extensions and formats which are not considered for backup. 

 

Actions 

The actions that can be performed on the SharePoint site page are described in the below table.

Field Description
Backup Now Click Backup Now to perform a manual backup of the site. 
Enable Click Enable to enable backup for the selected site.
Disable Click Disable to disable the backup for the selected enabled site.
Edit Click edit to update the already configured Site Settings.

Backups tab

The Backup tab lists the most recent snapshot of the SharePoint Site available for restore and download.

The following table lists the fields on the Backups tab.

Field Description
Snapshot selector

The date and time of the latest snapshot of the SharePoint site backed up data.

Dropdown which lists snapshots of the Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, and snapshots older than 7 days.

Name

The name of the SharePoint site and a list of data within the SharePoint site.

For example:

Documents, Form Templates, Site Pages, Style Library, Teams Wiki data.

Actions 

The actions that can be performed on the SharePoint Backups page are described in the below table.

Field Description
Backup Now Click Backup Now to perform a manual backup of the site. 
Enable Click Enable to enable backup for the selected site.
Disable Click Disable to disable the backup of the selected enabled site.
Restore Click Restore to perform restore or recovery of the selected site from a point in time snapshot.
Download Click Download to download the site data from a point in time snapshot.

Activity Stream

The Activity Stream tab lists the Backup, Restore and Download activity logs over the site as follows:

  • Backup activities: Displays a list of backup activity logs that are less than 30 days old.

Note: inSync automatically deletes the backup activity logs which are more than 30 days old.

  • Download and Restore activities - All the Download and Restore activities performed to date are displayed.

Note: inSync does not delete the download and restore activity logs.

Filters for Activity Stream

Click on the Filter icon for SPO filters.png  to view and download the logs of backup and download activities performed for the selected SharePoint Online site.

The following table lists the administrator activities that you can filter according to the activity types.

Filter Options
Activity
  • Backup: All the backup activities performed.
  • Restore: All the restore activities performed.
  • Download: All the download activities performed.
Time All activities performed within a specific time interval.
Status
  • Backed Up Successfully: All activities for which the backup operation was successful.
  • Backed Up With Errors: All activities for which the backup operation completed with some errors.
  • Backup Failed: All activities for which the backup operation failed.
  • Restore Successful: All activities for which the restore operation was successful.
  • Restored with Errors: All activities for which the restore operation completed with some errors. 
  • Restore Failed:  All activities for which the restore operation failed.
  • Restore Cancelled: This status is applicable if the restore activity is cancelled by the administrator.
  • Download Successful: All activities for which download operation was successful.
  • Download Failed: All activities for which the download operation failed.

Note: You can select multiple  statuses for the selected Activity Type.

Actions 

Select the Activity on the Activity Stream page to perform the actions as described in the below table.

Field Description
Download Logs Click Download Logs to download and view the logs of the backup and restore activities performed for the selected site.
Apply (Appears in the Filter dialog box)

Click Apply after you have selected the required filter options as per your requirement to view activities for specific criteria.

You can view the count of filters applied at the top right corner of the filter icon.

Reset (Appears in the Filter dialog box) Click Reset to remove all the filter options that you have applied.

Actions 

Select the Activity on the Activity Stream page to perform the actions as described in the below table.

Field Description
Download Logs Click Download Logs to download and view the logs of the backup and restore activities performed for the selected site.

Teams

Field description

Field Description
Teams | x of x The count of all the discovered Teams.
Search Team

Search for a specific Team. 

Note:  Search using wildcard character  is not supported.

Name

The name of the Team.

Archived teams are displayed with archive teams icon.png icon beside the team name.

 

Channels The number of channels within the Teams
Backup data The size of Teams backed up data.
App Status

The status of the selected Teams.

  • Enabled: Storage is assigned to the Teams and backup is enabled for the selected Teams.
  • Disabled: If the backup is disabled for the selected Teams.
  • Not Configured: The selected Teams' is not configured for backup. Assign storage to enable backup for the discovered Team.
Last Backup Status (SubApps)

Displays the backup status along with date and time for each of the following:

  • Team Metadata
  • Team Site
  • Conversation

Hover on the backup status icon to view the details.

Actions

Select the Team name using the checkbox to perform the actions as described in the below table.

Field Description
Auto Configuration  Click Auto Configuration to edit the discovery, storage, and backup settings.
Discover Teams Click Discover Teams to allow inSync to discover the newly added  Teams. 
Delete Click Delete to delete the selected Teams.

Filters for Teams

Click on the  Filter icon for SPO filters.png  to filter the Microsoft Teams.

The following table lists the available options for the filter:

Filter Options
Last Backup Status

Filter the teams as per the following backup statuses:

  • Backed Up Successfully
  • Backup Failed 
  • Backed Up with Errors 
  • Never Backed Up
Sub Apps

Only after you select the Last Backup Status, you can use this option to filter teams as per the following Sub Apps:

  • Team Metadata 
  • Team Site
  • Team Conversation

App Status

  • Disabled: All Teams for which backup is disabled.
  • Enabled: All Teams for which backup is enabled.
  • Not Configured: All Teams that are not configured for backup.
Team type
  • Public: Select this checkbox to filter and view only Public Teams
  • Private: Select this checkbox to filter and view only Private Teams

Team Status

  • Active: Select this checkbox to filter and view only Active Teams
  • Archived: Select this checkbox to filter and view only Archived Teams

Actions

Select the required filter options as per your need and perform the required actions as described in the following table.

Field Description
Apply Click Apply to apply the selected filter options for the required view on the Teams listing page.
Reset Click Reset to remove all the filter options that you have applied.

Summary tab

Click on the Team Name to view the Teams' details page.

Team Details

The following table lists the fields in the Team Details section.

Field Description
Name

The name of the Teams.

Archived teams are displayed with archive teams icon.png icon beside the team name.

Description Description of the Team.
Current Channels The number of channels added to the Teams at a given point in time.
Team URL The web address of the Team site.
Status The Team status displayed as Enabled or Disabled.
Added on The date and time on which the Team was added to inSync. 

Data Distribution

The data distribution pie-graph shows the total data size backed for a Team. It also displays storage distribution details for Team Metadata, Team Site, and Conversation.

The storage consumption section shows how the storage consumption for the Team Metadata, Team Site, and Conversation has changed over the last 90 days. When you hover the mouse pointer over a particular place in the chart, you can see the storage consumed on a day.

Field Description
Last Completed Backup The number of days from last completed backup. 
Last Backup Data The amount of data backed up during the last completed backup. 
Last Backup Status The status of the last backup displayed as Backed Up Successfully, or Backup Failed, or Never Backed Up. 
Total Backup Data The total amount of data backed up by inSync for the Team Metadata to date.

Team Site Summary

The following table lists the fields in the Team Site Summary section.

Field Description
Last Completed Backup The number of days from last completed backup. 
Last Backup Data The amount of data backed up during the last completed backup. 
Last Backup Status The status of the last backup displayed as Backed Up Successfully, or Backup Failed, or Never Backed Up. 
Total Backup Data The total amount of data backed up by inSync for the Team Site to date.

Team Conversation Summary

The following table lists the fields in the Team Conversation Summary section.

Field Description
Last Completed Backup The number of days from last completed backup. 
Last Backup Data The amount of data backed up during the last completed backup. 
Last Backup Status The status of the last backup displayed as Backed Up Successfully, or Backup Failed, or Never Backed Up. 
Total Backup Data The total amount of data backed up by inSync for the Team Conversation to date.

Backup and Retention

The following table lists the fields in the Backup and Retention section.

Field Description
Backup Frequency The frequency of backup.  By default, it is Once a Day.
Storage The assigned storage region. 
Data Retention The duration for which the data will be retained. By default, the value is set to unlimited.

Field Description
Backup Now Click Backup Now to perform a manual backup of the site. 
Enable Click Enable to enable backup for the selected Teams.
Disable

Click Disable to disable backup for the selected Teams.

Note:  For  Teams' with  Disabled  status,  you cannot perform backup operation. However, you can  do the following:

  • View the snapshots or restore points
  • Download  data 
  • View activity logs
Edit Click Edit to modify or update the existing Backup Settings for the selected Teams.

Backups tab

The Backup tab lists the most recent snapshot of the Metadata (Teams Settings) and the Teams channels available for restore and download.

The following table lists the fields on the Backups tab.

Field Description
Snapshot selector

The date and time of the latest snapshot of the Teams' Settings.

Dropdown which lists snapshots of the Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, and snapshots older than 7 days.

Teams Settings

Metadata of the selected Teams. Click on Team Settings to view the following metadata details:

  • Summary: Displays Teams' name and the timestamp of the Team creation date.
  • Members: Displays the total members within the Teams, number of owners, guests.
  • Permissions: Displays the permissions assigned to the guests and members. 

Note: Due to a Microsoft API limitation, there is no mapping for Private Channels within Teams and the SharePoint site.  Consequently, FIles and Wiki data within the Private Channels cannot be backed up and restored in Teams. You can restore Files and Wiki data within the Private Channels from the corresponding associated SharePoint site.

Channel Name

 For Private Channel type, only Conversations data is backed up. Files and wiki data is not backed up.

The name of the Teams' channels and its type - Standard Channel and Private Channel. When you click on the specific channel and expand the channel, you can see a list of data available for download within Files, Conversations, and Wiki.

For Conversations (Emails and messages), the backed up data is displayed as follows:

  • Emails (with a subject): <Subject text>
  • Emails (without a subject): <HTML content>
  • App conversations (For example - Cards): <HTML content>
  • Stickers: <HTML content>
  • Emojis: <HTML content>
  • Attachments with text message: <Message text>
  • Attachments without text message: <->

Actions 

The actions that can be performed on the Teams' Backups page are described in the below table.

Backup Now Click Backup Now to perform a manual backup of Teams. 
Enable Click Enable to enable backup for the selected Teams.
Disable Click Disable to disable backup for the selected Teams.
Restore Click Restore to perform restore or recovery of the Team from a point in time snapshot.
Download Click Download to download Teams data from a point in time snapshot.

Activity Stream

Click on the Team Name to view the Teams' activities page.

The following table lists the fields on the Activity Stream page.

Field Description
Activities | x of x  The count of total backup and download activities performed for the Teams
Activity

Details of activity performed for the Teams.

  • Backup
  • Restore
  • Download
Type

Details of the activity performed for the type of Teams' data - Team Metadata or Team Site or Team Conversation.

 The Type is displayed only if you have selected Backup or Restore as the Activity for downloading logs.

Time The date and time stamp when the activity was performed for the Team.
Admin The name of the administrator.
Status

The status of the activity performed for the Team.

For Backup: Backed Up Successfully, Backed Up With Errors, or Backup Failed.

For Restore: Restore Successful or Restore Failed

For Download: Download Successful or Download Failed.

The Activity Stream tab lists the Backup activity logs for the team as follows:

  • Backup activities: Displays a list of backup activity logs that are less than 30 days old.

Note: inSync automatically deletes the backup activity logs which are more than 30 days old.

  • Download and Restore activities - All the Download and Restore activities performed to date are displayed.

Note: inSync does not delete the download and restore activity logs.

Filters for Activity Stream

Click on the Filter icon for SPO filters.png  to search, view, and download the logs of backup and download activities performed for the selected Team.

The following table lists the administrator activities that you can filter according to the activity types.

Type

 The Type field is displayed only if you have selected Backup as the Activity filter option. 

  • Team Metadata: All backup and restore activities performed for the Team Metadata.
  • Team Site: All backup and restore activities performed for the Team Site.
  • Team  Conversation: All backup and restore activities performed for the Conversations.
  • Private Channel Site: All backup and restore activities performed for the Private Channel Site.
Site Title (For Private Channel Site only) Select a site title as per your requirement from the dropdown.
Time All activities performed within a specific time interval.
Status
  • Backed Up Successfully: All activities for which the backup operation was successful.
  • Backed Up With Errors: All activities for which the backup operation completed with some errors.
  • Backup Failed: All activities for which the backup operation failed.
  • Restore Successful: All activities for which the restore operation was successful.
  • Restore Failed:  All activities for which the restore operation failed.
  • Restored With Errors: All activities for which the restore operation completed with some errors. 

Note: For Team Site and Private Channel Site, Restored With Errors status is displayed when SharePoint site restore is partially successful.

  • Download Successful: All activities for which download operation was successful.
  • Download Failed: All activities for which the download operation failed.

Select the Activity on the Activity Stream page to perform the actions as described in the below table.

Download Logs Click Download Logs to download and view the logs of the backup and restore activities performed for the selected Teams.
Apply (Appears in the Filter dialog box) Click Apply after you have selected the required filter options as per your requirement to view activities for specific criteria.
Reset (Appears in the Filter dialog box) Click Reset to remove all the filter options that you have applied.

Public folder

The following table lists the fields under the Public folder  tab.

Public folders | x of x The count of all the discovered Public folders.
Search Public folder

Search for a specific Public folder.

Note:  Search using wildcard character is not supported.

Name The name of the Public folder.
Last Completed Backup The date and time of the last completed backup.
Backup data The size of Public folders' backed up data.
App Status

The status of the Public folder.

  • Enabled: Storage is assigned to the Public folder  and backup is enabled for the selected Public folder.
  • Disabled: If the backup is disabled for the selected Public folder.
  • Not Configured: The selected Public folder is not configured for backup. Assign storage to enable backup for the discovered Public folder.
Last Backup Status The status of the last backup displayed as Backed Up Successfully, or Backup Failed, or Never Backed Up.
Filter Filter out the specific Public folders based on the Last Backup Status and App Status filter criteria.

Field Description

Last Backup Status The status of the last backup displayed as Backed Up Successfully, or Backup Failed, or Never Backed Up. 
Total Backup Data The total amount of data backed up by inSync for the Public folder till date.

Storage consumption

The storage consumption section shows how the storage consumption for the Public folder data has changed over the last 90 days. When you hover the mouse pointer over a particular place in the chart, you can see the storage consumed on a day. 

Public folder Details

The following table lists the fields in the Public folder Details section.

Field Description
Name The name of the Public folder.
Status The app status displayed as Enabled or Disabled.
Added on The date and time on which the Public folder was added to inSync. 
Number of Sub-folders The count of sub-folders within the selected Public folder.
Path The Public folder path details for navigation. For example: \TestPublicfolder
Mail Settings Displays the status of Mail Settings: Enabled or Disabled.

Backup Settings

By default, the backup and retention criteria for site settings are set to the Auto Configuration settings.

  • Click the Edit button to customize the site settings. 

The following table lists the fields in the Site Settings section.

Field Description
Backup Frequency The frequency of backup. 
Storage The assigned storage region. 
Data Retention The duration for which the data will be retained. By default, the value is set to unlimited.
 

Actions 

The actions that can be performed on the SharePoint site page are described in the below table.

Download Click Download to download the Public folder data.

Activity Stream

Click on the Public folder Name to view the Public folders' activities page.

The following table lists the fields on the Activity Stream page.

Field Description
Activities | x of x The count of total backup and download activities performed for the Public folders.
Activity Type

Details of activity performed for the Public folders.

  • Backup: Scheduled or Manual
  • Download
Time The date and time stamp when the activity was performed for the Public folder.
Admin The name of the administrator.
Status

The status of the activity performed for the Public folder.

For Backup: Backed Up Successfully, Backed Up With Errors, or Backup Failed.

For Download: Download Successful or Download Failed.

The Activity Stream tab lists the Backup activity logs for the team as follows:

  • Backup activities: Displays a list of backup activity logs that are less than 30 days old.

Note: inSync automatically deletes the backup activity logs which are more than 30 days old.

  • Download and Restore activities - All the Download and Restore activities performed to date are displayed.

Note: inSync does not delete the download and restore activity logs.

Filters for Activity Stream

Click on the Filter icon for SPO filters.png  to search, view, and download the logs of backup and download activities performed for the selected Public folder.

The following table lists the administrator activities that you can filter according to the activity types.

The following table lists the fields under the Gmail and Google Drive tabs.

Search User Search for a user.
User Name The name of the user.
Last Completed Backup

The date and time when data was last backed up from the SaaS app. To view the status details, click on the status.

Click on the column header to sort the list as per the last completed backup timestamp.

Backup Data

The amount of data that inSync has backed up for that SaaS App account.

Click on the column header to sort the list as per the backup data size.

App Status The status of the SaaS app account. 

The following symbols are displayed adjacent to the status of the device, based on their configuration.

Symbol Description
The device is on Legal Hold. For more information, see About legal hold.
Persona backup is configured for the device. For more information, see About Persona Backup.

Click on the column header to sort the list alphabetically as per the app configuration status.

Last Backup Status

Backup status of the SaaS app.

Click on the column header to sort the list alphabetically as per the last backup status.

Status Details

Displays the error message indicating the reason for user data backup failure. Click the error message for more details. For more information, see SaaS Apps Apps Error Messages

Click on the column header to sort the list. The sorting is not alphabetical and is done based on the error message.

Enable Click Enable to enable the backup of the Cloud App account for the selected user.

Delete

Click Delete to remove the Cloud App user account from inSync. 

The backed up data cannot be restored if the Cloud App user account is deleted. 

Shared Drives

Last Completed Backup The number of days from last completed backup. 
Last Backup Data The amount of data backed up during the last completed backup. 
Last Backup Status The status of the last backup displayed as Backed Up Successfully, or Backup Failed, or Never Backed Up. 
Total Backup Data The total amount of data backed up by inSync for the Shared Drive to date.

Storage consumption

The storage consumption section shows how the storage consumption for the site collection has changed over the last 90 days. When you hover the mouse pointer over a particular place in the chart, you can see the storage consumed on a day. 

The Summary tab also contains the Shared Drive Details and the Shared Drive  Settings sections which are described as following.

Account Name The name of the Shared Drive.
Account ID The web address of the Shared Drive.
Status The Shared Drive status displayed as Enabled or Disabled.
Added on The date and time on which the Shared Drive was added to inSync.

By default, the backup and retention criteria for Shared Drive Settings are set to the Auto Configuration settings.

  • Click the Edit button to customize the Shared Drive Settings. 

The following table lists the fields in the Shared Drive Settings section.

Storage The assigned storage region. 
Retention Settings  
Retain daily backups for The number of days for which the daily backups will be retained. 
Retain weekly backups for The number of weeks for which the weekly backups will be retained.

File Exclusions The file extensions and formats which are not considered for backup.

Enable Click Enable to enable backup for the selected Shared Drive.

Restore

Snapshot selector

The date and time of the latest snapshot of the Shared Drive backed up data.

Dropdown which lists snapshots of the Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, and snapshots older than 7 days.

Name

The name of the Shared Drive and a list of data within the Shared Drive.

For example: Documents.

Restore Click Restore to perform restore or recovery of the Shared Drive from a point in time snapshot.
Download Click Download to download SharePoint from a point in time snapshot.

Activity Stream

  • Backup activities: Displays a list of backup activity logs that are less than 30 days old.
    Note: If the count of backup activity logs for the current month exceeds 30, inSync automatically deletes the backup activity logs which are more than 30 days old.
  • Download and Restore activities - All the Download and Restore activities performed to date are displayed.
    Note: inSync does not delete the download and restore activity logs.

Slack Organizations | <# of Total> The count of all the discovered Slack Orgs.
Org ID The ID associated with the Slack organization.
Org Name The name of the Slack organization.
# Users The total number of users in the Slack Org.
Last Completed backup

The date and time when data was last backed up from the Slack Org. 

Note: If no backups have been initiated for the selected Slack Org,  a hyphen (-) is displayed.

Last Backup Status

The status of the last backup.

  • Backed Up Successfully: If the backup completes successfully.
  • Backup Failed: If the backup failed.
  • Never backed Up: If the backup has never been initiated for the selected Org.

The status of the Slack app

Actions

The actions that can be performed on the Organizations' page are described in the below table.

Add Slack Org Click Add Slack Org to add a new Org manually. 

Select the Org ID to perform the actions mentioned in the table below:

Users Tab

Showing <Number> Users The count of all the discovered users in the Slack Org.
User's Name Name of the Slack user.
Email ID The ID associated with the Slack users.
inSync User Displays if the selected user is a inSync user or not.
Organization Name of the Slack Org to which the selected user belongs.

Select the Slack Org to view its users.
inSync User Use this filter to view only inSync users.
On Legal Hold Use this filter to view only inSync users that are put on Legal Hold.

Search User

Type in the name of the specific user that you want to search for.

Download Report

Click Download Report to download the report based on the user types. 

You can download a report for a specific user or all users for all Orgs.

The user report is downloaded in<Druva inSync Slack User Report#>.CSV format. User report includes the following details:

  • Report creation date
  • User name
  • User's email ID
  • If the user is a inSync user
  • If the user is on Legal Hold or not
  • Org name to which the user belongs

Activity Stream

Click on the Org ID to view the Teams' activities page.
