Uninstall Phoenix agent and remove your server from Phoenix

Uninstall the agent

Before you uninstall Phoenix agent, ensure that you have administrator privileges on the server.

To uninstall Phoenix agent

  1. Log on to the server on which you installed Phoenix agent.
  2. For Windows 2012 Server and Windows 2008 Server, from the Start menu, navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program.
  3. From the list of programs, uninstall Druva Phoenix Agent.

Complete the uninstallation

After the uninstallation, the Phoenix agent configuration file and logs are retained on your servers. To complete the uninstallation, you must delete these files manually.

Note: The configuration files and logs are retained as a safeguard against inadvertent uninstallation operations. If you want to install Phoenix agent again, do not delete these files.

Delete the following folders (containing the log files and configuration files):

  • Windows 2012 Server
    C:\ProgramData\Phoenix
  • Windows 2008 Server
    C:\ProgramData\Phoenix

To remove the server from Phoenix, see Delete a SQL server.
