Server Group Details page

This topic provides instructions for viewing and editing the server group details using the Server Group Details page.

Access Path

  1. On the menu bar, click All Organizations, and select the required organization from the drop-down list.
  2. On the menu bar, click ManageServer Groups
    The Manage Server Groups page opens with a list of added server groups.
  3. In the Name column, click server group name.
    The Server Group Details page opens.

The Server Group Details page consists of the following tabs:


On the Summary tab, you can view the summary details of a server group. The summary includes number of back up and restore jobs, bandwidth usage, backup data, and configuration. On this tab, you can also edit and delete the server group.


Field Description

The following table lists the fields on the Summary tab.

Field Description
#Servers The number of File Servers associated with the server group.
#Snapshots The total number of hot, warm, and cold snapshots of the File Server. The thawed snapshots are counted as warm snapshots.

Backup & Restore

The Backup & Restore section displays backup and Restore jobs for the last 7 days with the following three status: 

  • Successful
  • Successful with errors (Backup only)
  • Failed

Bandwidth Usage The Bandwidth Usage section displays the average bandwidth consumed over the last one week. 


The Configuration section displays the following:

  • Storage: The storage used by the Server group.
  • CloudCache: The Cloud Cache associated with the server group.
  • MS-SQL Server Backup Policy: The name of the MS-SQL Server backup policy used.
  • File Server Backup Policy: The name of the File Server backup policy used.
  • VMware Backup Policy: The name of the VMware backup policy used.
  • Retention Policy: The name of the retention policy used.

Backup Data

The Backup Data area illustrates the following data for the last 90 days:

  • Source+Change:The amount of backup data generated at source. This includes the initial full backup and incremental data from all subsequent backups.
  • Current Source: The size of the data on the source server(s) at the time of the last backup.


The following table lists the actions on the Summary tab.

Action Description


Click the button to delete the server group.

Click the button to edit the server group details, such as server group name, backup policy, retention policy.

For more information, see Update server group details.


On the Servers tab, you can view the list of servers added in the server group.

Field Description

The following table lists the fields on the Servers tab.

Field Description
Name The name of the server.
Platform The operating system installed on the server.
Client Version The version of the Phoenix Agent installed on the server.

Action Description

Backup Now

Click the button to backup the selected server.

For more information, see Back up a File server.


Click the button to restore the selected server.

The Restore Data page opens to select the required snapshot. For more information, see Restore a File server to the original server and Restore a File server to an alternate server.
