File Server Details page

 Overview

This topic provides instructions for viewing and editing the File server details using the Server Details page. 

Access Path

  1. On the menu bar, click All Organizations, and select the required organization from the drop-down list.
  2. On the menu bar, click Servers
    The Servers page opens with a list of registered servers.
  3. In the Name column, click server name.
    The Server details page opens.

Field Description

The following table lists the fields on the Server Details page. 

Field Description
Storage The storage configured for the server.

Source + Changes (total)

The total size of the backup data generated at the source. This size includes the initial full backup and incremental data from all subsequent backups.

Server Group

The server group configured for the server.

Click the link to change or remove the server group.

Server Details

Retention Policy

The retention policy assigned to the server.

Click the link to change or remove the policy. 

OS The operating system running on the server.
FQDN/Hostname The fully qualified domain name or hostname of the server.
Current Source (total) The total size of the data on the source server at the time of the last backup.
Connection Status The current connection status of the server.
Client Version     Displays version of the Phoenix agent running on the server.
Bandwidth Usage The Bandwidth Usage section displays the average bandwidth consumed over the last one week. 
Backup Enabled The status that indicates whether the scheduled backup for the server is enabled or not.

Backup Data

The Backup Data area illustrates the following data for the last 90 days:

  • Source+Change: The amount of backup data generated at the source. This includes the initial full backup and incremental data from all subsequent backups.
  • Current Source: The size of the data on the source server(s) at the time of the last backup.

Backup & Restore

The Backup & Restore section displays backup and Restore jobs for the last 7 days with the following three status: 

  • Successful
  • Successful With Errors (Backup only)
  • Failed
# Snapshots The total hot, warm, and cold snapshots for the File Server. The thawed snapshots are counted as warm snapshots.

Actions

The following table lists the actions on the Server Details page.

Action Description

Reconfigure for Backup

Click the button to reconfigure the server for backup.

More Actions Click the button to select options to edit the server name, upgrade the client, register the server, or delete the server.

Backup Now

Click the button to start the backup of the server.

Restore

Click the button to start the restoring the server.

Disable Backup

Click the button to disable the scheduled backup of the server.
