Add Retention Policy page

Overview

This topic provides instructions for configuring the retention period for your backup data using the Add Retention Policy page. 

Access Path

  1. On the menu bar, click All Organizations, and select the required organization from the drop-down list.
  2. On the menu bar, click Manage Retention Policies
    The Manage Retention Policies page opens with a list of added backup policies.
  3. Click Add Retention Policy.
    The Add Retention Policy page opens.

Field Description

The following table lists the fields on the Add Retention Policy page.

Field Description
Policy Name The name of the retention policy.

Keep all snapshots for

The duration for which you want to retain all snapshots. 

Keep weekly revisions for

The duration for which you want to retain weekly snapshots.

Keep monthly revisions for

The duration for which you want to retain monthly snapshots.

Keep yearly revisions for

The duration for which you want to retain yearly snapshots.

Actions

The following table lists the actions on the Add Retention Policy page.

Action Description
Save Saves the specified values in the retention policy.
