Overview

The VMware page lists the vCenters and Hypervisors configured with Phoenix.  It also allows you to register the VMware vCenter Server and ESX Hypervisors, on which you have installed Phoenix backup broxy.

Access Path

On the Phoenix Management Console menu bar, click VMware. The VMware page is displayed.

Field Description

The following table lists the fields displayed on the VMware page.

Field Description
vCenter/Hypervisor Lists the virtual server environments registered with Phoenix.
# Total VMs Displays the total count of virtual machines associated with that vCenter or Hypervisor. Clicking on the integer redirects to the All Virtual Machines tab that lists the virtual machines available in your environment. For more information, see View VMware Details page.
# VMs Configured for Backup Displays the total count of virtual machines that are configured for backup with Phoenix. Clicking on the integer redirects to the Configured Virtual Machines tab that lists the virtual machines configured for backup in Phoenix. For more information, see View VMware Details page.
# Backup Proxy Pools Displays the number of backup proxy pools. Clicking on the integer redirects to the Backup Proxy Pool tab that lists the available backup proxy pools. For more information, see Backup Proxy Pool Details page.
# Backup Proxies Displays the number of backup proxies part of this backup proxy pool. For more information, see Backup Proxy Pool Details page.

Actions

The following table lists the action on the VMware page.

Action Description
Register New Setup Click Register New Setup to register the VMware vCenter Server and ESX Hypervisors, on which you have installed Phoenix backup proxy. For more information, see Register New VMware Setup.
