How to reset the inSync Server 4.x Web Management console credentials or TCP Port number

Resetting the Administrator's credentials

To reset the inSync Server 4.0 Web Management Console (GUI) username and password:

  1. Click Start > All Programs > Druva inSync Server.
  2. Click inSync Server Management Console.
  3. The inSync Server Initial Configuration screen displays. Click Next.
  4. Enter a new username and password for the administrator.
  5. Click Next and then click Finish.

Changing the TCP Port

To reset the inSync Server port number:

  1. Click Start > All Programs > Druva inSync Server.
  2. Click inSync Server Management Console.
  3. The inSync Server Initial Configuration screen displays, Click Next.
  4. Enter a new TCP port number. ( Default is 6065)
  5. Click Next and then click Finish.
