Title

Linux NAS backup fails with error Phoenix 370

Problem description

  • This issue is specific to Linux Nas proxy.

  • We do not see the share mounted on the NAS Proxy when we run # df -h.

  • Phoenix job log shows the error -  Phoenix370.

Cause

One of the causes for this is a stale file handle  /mnt mount on NAS proxy.

Traceback

  • Run df-h on the NAS proxy, and you will observe the following stale file handle message.

Resolution

  • After rebooting the NAS proxy and /mnt stale file handle error should be gone now.

  •  Re-run the backup job.
