How to Migrate Druva Phoenix Backup Proxy from One Organization to Another Organization

  • How to migrate Druva Phoenix Backup Proxy from One Organization to Another organization

 

Procedure

  • Delete it from the old organization by following the steps mentioned in the below article.

For Standalone Esxi Backup proxy, kindly follow the steps.

  • Log-on/ssh to backup proxy with root credentials using vSphere client.

  • At the command prompt, type ProxyConf

  • Select the type of Druva Cloud by typing the number adjacent to the cloud.

  • Druva Cloud

  • GovCloud

  • The backup proxy settings are displayed on the screen.

  • Select the option Activate token and update the activation token.  Kindly refer to the below article.

For vCenter Backup Proxy, kindly follow the below steps.

  • Log on to vCenter Server using vSphere Client. 

  • From the left pane, select the backup proxy virtual machine.

  • Right-click the virtual machine and select Power > Power Off.

  • On the Confirm Power Off screen, select Yes.

  • Right-click the virtual machine and click Edit Settings.
    The Virtual Machine Properties page is displayed.

  • On the Options tab, click Properties.

  • The virtual machine property configuration is displayed in the right pane. Modify the details as per your requirement

  • Update the Activation token there.

  • Click OK.

  • Power on the backup proxy.
