How to set the Daily Auto Sync Time

Overview

CloudRanger Sync is used to synchronize your AWS environment with CloudRanger. This is required when you have created a new EC2 instance, RDS Instance, Redshift Cluster,  and so on in your AWS environment and want them to be visible under the Resources section in CloudRanger.

The sync is also removes stale resources that you have already removed from your AWS environment, but are still be visible in CloudRanger.

Auto Sync functionality takes care of the above task without any manual intervention.You can set the time for the daily automated sync using the below method.

 The default set time does not hold any relevance till this setting is manually saved using the below method.

Set the auto-sync time

On the CloudRanger console:

  1. Click the gear icon   to go to the Account Settings page.

  2. Under Overview,  set the Auto Sync Time (Daily)  as per the Time Zone.

  3. Click Save
