Encrypt inSync Share folder for Windows laptops

Overview
As an administrator, you can enable encryption for the inSync Share folder on Windows laptops. Files that are encrypted appear in green whereas files that are not encrypted appear in black.
The following table lists various inSync Share folder encryption scenarios and their results.

Note: You can encrypt the inSync Share folder for users through profiles. You cannot do this on an individual user level.
Before you begin
Before you enable encryption for the inSync Share folder, ensure that the Windows edition that your organization uses supports Encrypting File System (EFS).
Procedure
To encrypt inSync Share folder
- On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Profiles.
- Click the link of the profile for which you want to enable encryption for the inSync Share folder.
- Click the DLP tab.
- Click Edit. The Edit Profile window appears.
- Select the Encrypt inSync Share folder check box.
- Click Save.
