Update the backup interval

Heads up!

We've transitioned to a new documentation portal to serve you better. Access the latest content by clicking here.

The backup interval is the time period when Druva backs up data from your devices every day. Your administrator can define the backup interval for you. Your administrator can also allow you to update the backup interval.

Note: The frequency indicates the interval between two consecutive backups.
For example, if the frequency for backups is 4 hours and a backup ends at 10:07 A.M., the next backup starts at 2:07 P.M.

Procedure

To update the backup interval

  1. On the Druva Mobile App sidebar, tap Settings.
  2. Tap Backup.
  3. In the Preferences area, tap Backup Every.
  4. Tap the frequency of scheduled backups that you want to set as the new backup interval.
