Enable the backup services

Setting up backup services allows the Druva Mobile App to back up content from your device.

If your administrator enabled the Backup Services feature for you, when you log on to your Druva Mobile App, the backup operations start immediately. The Druva Mobile App then starts the backup operations at the interval that is defined by your administrator. Your administrator can also allow you to update the backup interval. For more information on how to update the backup interval, see Update the backup interval.

If your administrator did not enable the Backup Services for you, when you log on to your Druva Mobile App, the backup operations do not start immediately. If you want the Druva Mobile App to back up data from your mobile device, you must enable backup services for the Druva Mobile App. The Druva Mobile App then starts the backup operations at the interval that is defined by your administrator. For more information on how to update the backup interval, see Update the backup interval.

Note: If the Druva Mobile App is running in the background and if there is a backup operation in progress, the backup operation will automatically pause after 3 minutes. The backup operation resumes when you open the Druva Mobile App.
