Email logs from the mobile device

This section describes the steps to send the mobile device logs as an email attachment. The Druva  Administrator or Druva Support may request for logs to diagnose and resolve any issues with the app installed on the device.

Email logs from the mobile app

To send logs from the mobile app:

  1. Login to the Druva app from your mobile device.
  2. Go to Settings > About > Report a problem.
    The app displays a list of applications installed on the mobile device, including the email applications.
  3. Select the appropriate email app to email the logs.
    The app creates a text file of the logs and attaches the file to the email.

To send logs when you cannot log in to the mobile app:

  1. Open the login screen of the mobile app from your mobile device.
  2. Click Trouble logging in.  The app opens the login help page.
  3. Select the menu icon on the help page and click Report a Problem from the menu.
    The app displays a list of applications installed on the mobile device, including the email applications.
  4. Select the appropriate email app to email the logs.
    The app creates a text file of the logs and attaches the file to the email.
