Defensible Delete Report for Emails

Overview

This report provides information about the emails that are deleted from inSync using Federated Search or Sensitive Data Governance (Compliance) Email violations.

Access Path

On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Reports and then click Defensible Delete Report for Emails report.

If you are a inSync GovCloud customer and do not see this report, they might not have been enabled for your organization. Contact Support for assistance. 

Description

Field Description
UserID Unique ID of the user.
User Name Name of the user as defined in inSync.
User Email Email ID of the user.
DeviceID Unique ID of the device associated with this user.
Feature The inSync feature from where the email deletion was triggered. This can be either Sensitive Data Governance or Federated Search.
Subject The subject of the email that was deleted.
Display Path The path to the location of the email.
Attachment Name The name of the attachment of the email. If an email has multiple attachments, inSync creates a separate row for each attachment of the email. For example, an email with the subject line Q3 Marketing Report has 3 attachments: Oct, Nov, Dec. There will be 3 separate rows for this email in the report. The subject line will be the same for all 3 entries, but the attachment names will differ for each entry.
Attachment Size The size of the attachment of the email.
Send/Receive Time Time when the email was sent or was received.
From

The email ID of the person to whom the email was sent.

Note:  Draft emails without sender information display "" in the "From" section on the Email Violations page.

To The email ID of the inSync user who sent the email.
CC The email IDs of the persons who were copied on the email.
BCC The email IDs of the persons who were BCCed on the email.
Admin Name The name of the administrator who triggered the deletion.
Admin Email The email ID of the administrator.
Feature The inSync feature from where the file deletion was triggered. This can be either Sensitive Data Governance or Federated Search.
Action Taken Whether the email deletion was triggered for only the data source or for both data source and snapshot.
Deleted from Source Success indicates that the email was successfully deleted from the source. Failure indicates that inSync was unable to delete the file.
Deleted from Snapshot Success indicates that the email was successfully deleted from the snapshot. Failure indicates that inSync was unable to delete the email.
Action taken on Displays the time when the email deletion was triggered.
