Overview

By default, administrators can access user data and logs across your organization. However, you can:

  • Prevent all administrators (including yourself) from accessing user data.
  • Allow users to prevent administrator access to data.
  • Prevent all administrators (including yourself) from accessing the inSync Client logs from user devices.
  • Allow users to prevent administrator access to the inSync Client logs on user devices.
Note:
  • You can manage the user backup data privacy policy and logs privacy policy for inSync through profiles. You cannot do this on an individual user level.
  • User data privacy policy does not apply to legal administrators. Legal administrators can access user data even if:
    • You as an administrator have prevented administrators from accessing user data.
    • Users have prevented administrators from accessing their data.
