My Account details page

Overview

This section displays the logged-in administrator's customer details and licenses consumption information.

Access path 

Click the G_Bar1.jpg icon to access the Global Navigation Panel > Account Details.

Account Details

This section provides you information about your account details such as inSync licensing information, storage information, and user licensing distribution across configured data sources.

The following table describes the fields listed in this section:

Field Description
Customer name The name of the customer.
inSync License
License Edition The license edition selected.
Subscription Term The date the subscription is valid till.
Storage Allocated The amount of storage purchased for an account
Storage Used The amount of storage backed up data consumed for an account

This is the data stored from all the user devices and configured SaaS Apps such as Exchange Online, OneDrive, Google Workspace, and Box accounts including the organization apps such as SharePoint, Teams, and Salesforce App.
Avg. Storage per User The average storage consumed by each user.
Active Users The ratio of the total count of users using a service over the total count of users.

License Consumption

In addition, the inSync License section shows the license consumption of inSync users. This area displays details of the licenses that your organization has purchased and consumed. The following table describes the fields in the license consumption area. 

Data Source License Active Total
Device Users Number of device licenses purchased for an account. Total number of active users that have one or more devices associated and are using the inSync service. The total number of users that have one or more devices associated.

Microsoft 365 Users

Number of Microsoft 365 licenses purchased for an account

Total number of active users that have Microsoft 365 account associated and are using the inSync service. 

The total number of users that have Microsoft 365 account associated. One Microsoft 365 User license consists of:

  • Exchange Online
  • One Drive 
  • SharePoint Online
Google Workspace Users Number of Google Workspace licenses purchased for an account Total number of active users that have Google Workspace account associated and are using the inSync service. 

The total number of users that have  Google Workspace account associated. One Google Workspace User license consists of:

  • Gmail
  • Google Drive
  • Shared Drive
Box Users Number of Box licenses purchased for an account Total number of active users that have a Box account associated and are using the inSync service.  The total number of users that have a Box account associated.
Share Users Number of inSync Share licenses purchased for an account Total number of active users that are using inSync Share. The total number of users that use inSync Share.

Note: The difference in count between total created users and total active users is the number of preserved users for the corresponding data source.

To understand license consumption let’s consider the following example and scenarios.

For example:

  • 800 device licenses, and 100 licenses for Microsoft 365, 100 licenses for Google Workspace, 100 for Box, and 100 for Share are purchased for an organization
  • 650 users are using the device license
  • 80 users are using the device and Box license
  • 800 device users, 100 Microsoft 365 & Google Workspace users, and 80 Box users are registered with inSync, and zero Share users are registered with inSync. 

The license consumption table shows:
