Manage report subscriptions

This is an Early Availability draft of the documentation. This documentation is not final and it will get updated until the General Availability of the feature.  

As a Druva Administrator, you can subscribe yourself and other administrators to the reports for tracking backup activities and troubleshooting backup failures. The reports are sent through emails to the subscribed recipients based on the defined schedules.

Subscribe to a report

  1. Log in to the Druva Cloud Platform Console. 
  2. Click the Druva logo logo.png to access the Global Navigation Panel > Reports > Phoenix.
  3. The Phoenix Reports page appears.

  4. Click the report that you want to subscribe to.
  5. On the Report Details page, click Manage Subscriptions.
    The Manage Subscriptions page opens with the report name listed in the Summary section.

  6. In the Email Addresses box, enter the email addresses of the administrators that you want to configure for receiving reports. Press the Enter or Tab key to add multiple email addresses.
  7. In the Schedule section, click the toggle button to enable or disable the report subscription.
  8. Recurrence specifies how often to send the reports. Click the respective option to send the report daily, weekly, or monthly.
  9. The Repeat field is enabled if you click the Weekly and Monthly options in the Recurrence radio button. 
  10. In the Time Zone drop-down list, select the server time zone to generate the report.
  11. In the Time field, specify the time to trigger the report. Specify AM or PM appropriately.

    Note: The Time field follows the administrator’s time zone.

  12. Click Save.

The report will be sent through an email to the subscribed recipients based on the schedule.

Email a report

Druva Administrators can configure the Druva Cloud Platform to send the Backup Activity report to the intended recipient’s email addresses on demand.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Druva Cloud Platform Console. 
  2. Click the Druva logo logo.png to access the Global Navigation Panel > Reports > Phoenix. The Phoenix Reports page appears. 
  3. Click the report that you want to send to the administrators
  4. On the Report Details page, click Email Report.
    The Email Report page opens with the report name listed in the Summary section.
  5. In the Recipients section,  enter the email addresses of the administrators to whom you want to send reports. Press the Enter or Tab key to add multiple email addresses.
  6. Select the Add me to the recipient’s list check box to add your email address to the list of recipient’s email addresses. 

    Note: The PDF generated for the reports captures only the data viewable on the report page. However, you can view the complete data on the report page.

  7. Click Send Email.

The report is generated and sent through an email to the intended recipients.
