Manage report subscriptions

As a Druva Administrator, you can subscribe yourself and other administrators to receive reports. You can create, modify or delete a report subscription. The reports are sent through emails to the subscribed recipients based on the defined schedules.

Subscribe to a report

You can manage and subscribe to a report on the Hybrid Workloads Reports page.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Druva Cloud Platform Console. 
  2. Click Global_nav_Panel.png to access the Global Navigation Panel > Reports > Hybrid Workloads.
  3. By default, Hybrid Workloads Reports page opens on the Cards layout.png card layout. To view reports in the list view, click the  List view.png icon.

  4. Click the report that you want to subscribe to.
  5. On the Report Details page, click Manage Subscription > Edit.
    The Manage Subscription page opens with the report name listed in the Summary section.

  6. In the Email Addresses box, enter the email addresses of the administrators that you want to configure for receiving reports. Press the Enter or Tab key to add multiple email addresses.
  7. If you have a subscription, you can also populate multiple email addresses using the role-based selection. press Space in the text field for email addresses. A pop-down will show the available roles for the customer. Select the role that you wish to add. All the email addresses for the role  will get added to the list.

    You can add more roles in the same manner.
  8. In the Schedule section, click the toggle button to enable or disable the report subscription.
  9. Recurrence specifies how often to send the reports. Click the respective option to send the report daily, weekly, or monthly.
  10. The Repeat field is enabled if you click the Weekly and Monthly options in the Recurrence radio button. 
  11. Select the Time Zone from the Time Zone drop-down list.

    Note: By default, the timestamps of the data fetched in the report follow the UTC time zone.

  12. Set the Time in the Time picker. The time is set in your local time zone.
  13. Click Save.

The report subscription for a report is set based on your selection.

Email a report

Druva Administrators can configure the Druva Cloud Platform to send reports to the intended recipient’s email addresses on demand.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Druva Cloud Platform Console. 
  2. Click the Navigation icon.png to access the Global Navigation Panel > Reports > Hybrid Workloads. The Hybrid Workloads Reports page appears. 
  3. On the Reports details page, click the more icon 3 vertical dots.png > Email Report that you want to send to the administrators.

    Alternatively, you can click Email Report in the List view.png list view  to open the Email Report window.

  1. The Email Report page opens with the report name listed in the Summary section.

    You can send the report in .PDF or .CSV format. 

  2. In the Recipients section, enter the email addresses of the administrators to whom you want to send reports.

  3. Select the Add me to the recipient’s list check box to add your email address to the list of recipient’s email addresses. 

  4.  Click Send Email.

The report is generated and sent through an email to the intended recipients.
You will get a PDF of the table chart.  The numbers of PDFs sent through an email will depend on the number of table charts available in the report. 

Note: If there is no data available in the report for the last 30 days, no PDF will be attached.

Create a new report subscription

Druva Administrators can create a new report subscription for any selected reports when there is no subscription available for a report.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Druva Cloud Platform Console. 
  2. Click the Navigation icon.png to access the Global Navigation Panel > Reports > Hybrid Workloads. The Hybrid Workloads Reports page appears. 
  3. On the Reports details page, click the more icon 3 vertical dots.png > New Subscription that you want to send to the administrators.

    Alternatively, you can click Manage Subscription > New Subscription in the List view.png list view to open the New Subscription window.

  4. The New Subscription window appears.

  5. In the Schedule section, click the toggle button to enable or disable the report subscription.

  8. Select the time zone from the Time Zone drop-down list.

The new report subscription for a report is created.

Edit a report subscription

Druva Administrators can modify an existing report subscription for any of the selected reports.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Druva Cloud Platform Console. 
  2. Click Navigation icon.png to access the Global Navigation Panel > Reports > Hybrid Workloads Reports. The Hybrid Workloads Reports page appears.
  3. On the Reports details page, click the more icon 3 vertical dots.png  > Edit Subscription that you want to modify for any desired report.

    Alternatively, you can click Manage Subscription > Edit in the List view.png list view to open Manage Subscription window.

  4. The Manage Subscription window appears.

  5. To modify a report subscription, perform the following steps:
  6. In the Email Addresses box, enter the email addresses of the administrators that you want to configure for receiving reports. Press the Enter or Tab key to add multiple email addresses.   9. Click Save.

The report subscription is modified and subscribed recipients receive the email based on the schedule.

Delete a report subscription

Druva Administrators can delete a report subscription for any of the selected report.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Druva Cloud Platform Console. 
  2. Click Navigation icon.png to access the Global Navigation Panel > Reports > Hybrid Workloads Reports. The Hybrid Workloads Reports page appears.
  3. On the Reports details page, click the more icon 3 vertical dots.png  > Delete Subscription that you want to delete for any desired report.

  4. The Delete confirmation window opens.

  5. Click Yes.

The report subscription is permanently deleted and all report settings are reset.
