Druva Cloud Platform Update on September 23, 2021
Enhancements
Multi-factor authentication via email enabled by default
As an enhanced security measure, we have enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (via email) for all customers. This default setting provides an additional layer of login security 24x7x365 when administrators access their accounts from any device and ensures that only authorized access is permitted.
Note: Multifactor authentication is also enabled for fail-safe administrators who have configured SSO.
How does it work?
With this enhancement, at every login, the administrators across your organization are required to enter a time-based One Time Password (OTP) in addition to their login password. The OTP is sent to the administrator's registered email address. Only an administrator who has a valid password, as well as access to the OTP over the registered email address can access the account.
In situations where you do not receive an OTP, you can use the backup codes.
For more information, see the Configure Secured Login documentation.
Track all the active support cases from a single place
You can now easily track all your active support cases (associated with your customer ID) opened with Druva from the newly introduced Active Support Cases section on the Druva Cloud Platform Console. You no more need to login to the support portal; it’s all here on the Druva Cloud Platform Console.
Here’s a glimpse:
For more information, see Introduction to Druva Cloud Platform Console.
View all the third-party integrations details from a single place
You can now get information about all the third-party integrations Druva leverages in one place from the Integration section.
Druva has partnered with various third-party applications to help simplify customers’ business operations. By plugging into Druva’s API-based integrations, you can tap into new sources of data, improve existing business processes and reuse existing resources to automate business policies.
So now if you want to know about the third-party integrations Druva leverages, you know where to go.
