Support matrix and prerequisites

The following topics will help you to plan and prepare for implementing Rollback Actions capability:

Required license

Existing Ransomware Recovery customers will get this offering as part of their existing license. Customers who don’t have Ransomware Recovery license can opt to purchase the Backup Security Posture and Observability license exclusively.

Note: Currently, this feature is available only for Druva Public Cloud customers. 

Supported entities for rollback action

Currently, the following entities are supported for rollback action: 

inSync (Endpoints and SaaS Apps) 

  • Profiles 
  • Users
  • Endpoint Devices and Snapshots
  • Microsoft 365 Apps 
    • Exchange Online: Mailbox and Snapshots
    • OneDrive: OneDrive Account and Snapshots
    • SharePoint: Sites and Snapshots 
    • Teams
    • Public Folders 
    • Microsoft Groups
  • Google Workspace (Device-level) 
    • Gmail: Mailbox and Snapshots
    • Google Drive: Google Drive Account and Snapshots
    • Shared Drives: Shared Drive Account and Snapshots

Hybrid Workloads backup sets for

  • File Servers
  • VMware
  • Hyper V
  • MS SQL 
  • Oracle DTC 
  • NAS
  • Nutanix AHV
  • SAP HANA

Required permissions

The following permissions are required:

    Server Management > Delete Devices

  • inSync (Endpoints and SaaS Apps)
    Delete Workload, Delete users, Delete profiles, Delete Snapshots (For Endpoints, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Gmail, Google Drive, and Shared Drives)

View

Depending on your existing permissions you will be able to view deleted requests for those entities. For example, if you have permission to view only VMware (Hybrid Workload) data, you will see delete requests only for VMware and no other entity types.
