While backup policies are automatically executed within the defined schedule, Druva CloudRanger offers options to execute your backup policies on-demand.

Use the Execute Now feature to:

• Verify that the correct resources have been applied to the backup policy.
• Run or test a backup policy outside of your policy schedule.

To execute a backup policy:

1.  On the top navigation bar, click Policies and then select the policy you wish to execute.
   
   
    
2. Click Execute Now to initiate the backup policy.

The subsequent backups that are generated on policy execution may be reviewed under the relevant resource Backups page. In addition, the details of the policy execution can be viewed on the Jobs page.
