This page lists all the AD/LDAP mappings that you created to import user details from the AD/LDAP that is defined in the AD/LDAP mappings.
- On the inSync Management Console menu bar, click Manage > Deployments > AD/LDAP.
AD/LDAP Mappings list appears.
- Click on desired AD/LDAP Mapping Name for which you want to view the details.
The following table lists the fields in the AD/LDAP mappings List page.
|AD/LDAP Mapping Name||Name of the AD/LDAP mapping.|
|AD/LDAP Server||Server on which the active directory resides.|
|Profile||Name of the profile that is assigned to the users that are imported through the AD/LDAP mapping.|
|Storage Pool||Name of the storage pool that is assigned to the users that are imported through the AD/LDAP mapping.|
|Storage||Name of the storage that is assigned to the users that are imported through the AD/LDAP mapping.|
|Auto import New Users||
If enabled, your inSync setup will automatically import users from an AD/LDAP at regular intervals.
If disabled, you have to manually import users from AD/LDAP.
Registered AD/LDAP Accounts
The following table lists the fields in the Registered AD/LDAP Accounts area.
|Directory Service||Name of the directory type.|
|Host||The host name of the AD/LDAP.|
|Port||The port used for accessing the AD/LDAP.|
|Username||The name of the user accessing the AD/LDAP.|
|Attribute: Email||The email address of the user accessing the AD/LDAP.|
|Attribute: Username||The username of the user accessing the AD/LDAP.|
AD/LDAP Settings tab
The following table lists the fields in the AD/LDAP Settings area.
|Auto sync interval||The frequency of adding or updating users from AD. By default, the period is set to 24 hours.|
|Auto update user details||
Option to configure inSync to automatically update user details at a defined interval.
|Auto preserve unmapped users||Option to configure inSync to automatically query your AD/LDAP, at a defined interval, for user details and preserve any inSync user who has been disabled or deleted in your AD/LDAP.|
This area displays the priority of all the available AD/LDAP Mappings. AD/LDAP Mapping at the top has the highest priority while the one at the bottom has the lowest priority.
