Configure the maximum file upload size for Share

inSync Private Cloud Editions: File:/tick.png Elite File:/tick.png Enterprise

Overview

As an inSync administrator, you can configure the maximum file size that users can upload to inSync Share by using the inSync Web. The maximum file size that you can configure for upload is up to 1000 MB.

Implications

Consider these implications while configuring the upload limit for the inSync Share Web console:

  • You can configure a maximum of 2048 MB as the upload limit.
  • When you upload a file to inSync Share Web, it gets loaded into he memory of inSync Server under the inSyncCPortal process.
  • If multiple users upload files to inSync Share Web, the memory consumption on the server is equal to the sum total of the size of all the files. For example, if five users upload a 1-GB file to inSync Share Web, the memory consumption on the server is 5 GB.
