As an inSync administrator, you can make it mandatory for users to provide their inSync account credentials when they restore data by using the inSync client. The following table lists the user actions, and the results when you enforce user authentication for users.

The user must use the inSync account credentials to log on. On successful authentication, the user can access the Restore window.

Note: If you want to enforce user authentication for data restores, contact Druva Support (email@example.com. Druva does not recommend updating the configuration settings of the inSyncServer.cfg file on your own.
