C:\ProgramData\Druva\inSyncCloud
inSync Web user interface
inSync 5.8 comes with a redesigned inSync Web user interface. When users log on to inSync Web, the inSync Share page appears by default. We removed the Dashboard. Most of the Dashboard information is now available on the My Accounts page.
inSync Share folder location
With inSync 5.8, users can now select the location for your inSync Share folder. To use this feature, you must upgrade all installations of inSync Client to inSync Client 5.8.
inSyncConfig.ini for Mac
While installing inSync 5.8 clients on Mac laptops through IMD, you must specify the parameter values in the inSyncConfig.ini file in single quotes (') instead of double quotes ("). For more information, see Install inSync on Mac laptops.
inSync administrator roles
In inSync 5.8, we have introduced a granular set of administrative rights for the inSync administrators. When you upgrade from your previous inSync version to inSync 5.8, the profile administrators will map to the new Profile Admin role. Additionally, the predefined rights assigned to the new Profile Admin role automatically apply to the upgraded profile administrator.
