Overview
This page contains the filter parameters that you defined for extracting user details from an Active Directory (AD).
AD Configuration
The following table lists the fields in the AD Configuration area.
Field | Description |

AD mapping name | Name of the mapping. |
AD server | Name of the server on which AD resides. |
Base DN | Base distinguished name of AD. |
Organizational unit | Name of the organizational unit in AD from which user details are imported. |
AD group | Name of the AD group from which user details are imported. |
Department | Name of the department from which user details are imported. |
Country | Name of the country from which user details are imported. |
Name to be used for creation | Name that you use for creating users. |
inSync Configuration
The following table lists the fields in the inSync Configuration area.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Profile | Name of the profile assigned to users imported through the AD mapping. |
Storage | Name of the storage assigned to users imported through the AD mapping. |
Quota per user | Size of quota assigned to users imported through the AD mapping. |
Auto import new users | If enabled, your inSync setup will automatically import users from AD at regular intervals. If disabled, you have to manually import users from AD. Note: Do not use this method, if you are creating an AD mapping for integrated mass deployment. |
Auto disable unmapped users | If enabled, your inSync setup will sync up with the AD at regular intervals and deactivate users who have been removed from AD. If disabled, you have to manually update the inSync users who are deleted from AD. |
