Update HA Policy
To update HA policy
- On the inSync Master Management Console menu bar, click Manage > High Availability.
- Select the high availability policy that you want to update. The Manage High Availability page for that policy appears.
- In the HA Policy Overview area, click Edit. The Edit HA window appears.
- Update the HA policy properties as per your requirements.
- Click Save.
Update Seeding Policy
To update seeding policy
- On the inSync Master Management Console menu bar, click Manage > High Availability.
- Select the high availability policy that you want to update. The Manage High Availability page for that policy appears.
- In the Seeding Policy area, click Edit. The Edit HA window appears.
- If you want to enable seeding, select the Enable seeding check box. Additional options appears. Provide the appropriate information in each field.
Field Action Enable Seeding Select this check box to enable seeding from primary storage to secondary storage. Populate secondary storage daily at Click the start time and then type the duration for daily seeding. The seeding stops after the duration that you specify even if all data changes are not seeded. Additionally, populate weekly on Click the day on when you want to schedule seeding for weekly data. The daily seeding will not trigger on the day when weekly seeding is scheduled. Populate secondary storage weekly at Click the start time and then type the duration for weekly seeding. Use dedicated IP/FQDN for destination Select this check box to enable the use of a dedicated IP or fully qualified domain name to seed the secondary storage.
IP/FQDN for destination If you do not select the Use dedicated IP/FQDN for destination check box, click the IP address or FQDN for seeding the secondary storage. Limit bandwidth consumption to Type the maximum bandwidth for the secondary storage and click KBps or MBps from the adjacent list.
For unlimited bandwidth, type 0 kbps or 0 mbps. - Click Save.
Delete HA policy
Note:
- The secondary storage attached to the HA policy deletes automatically with the HA policy. All user data on the attached secondary storage also deletes with the secondary storage.
- Deleting HA policy does not affect the primary storage. Data on primary storage remains safe.
To delete HA policy
- On the inSync Master Management Console menu bar, click Manage > High Availability.
- Select the high availability policy that you want to delete.
- Click Delete. A message window appears.
- Click Yes.
