You might encounter scenarios where the status of your storage changes to Unhealthy. This happens when the storage database is unable to start. This can happen due to multiple reasons, including but not limited to, unclean server shutdown, issues with physical storage, inconsistent database files, and corrupt log files. In such scenarios, you run storage recovery.
Note: You must perform this action only when the storage is unhealthy. If the status of your storage does not change to Healthy, contact Druva Support for troubleshooting assistance.
To recover a storage
- On the inSync Master Management Console menu bar, click Manage > Storage List.
- Under the Storage List tab, click the unhealthy storage.
- Click Start Recovery.
