Manage the inSync Master email account

Overview

The inSync Master needs to send email notifications for various activities to inSync users and administrators. For example, inSync sends account activation emails to new users and administrators, alert notifications, and reset password notifications. To enable the inSync Master to send such emails, you must create and configure an email account.

Once you configure the email account, you can customize the emails that are are sent to inSync users and administrators. You can customize the following properties of the emails:

  • The subject line and text of the inSync activation email sent to users.
  • The subject line and text of the inSync reset password email sent to users.
  • Add a signature to the inSync emails sent to users.
  • Add a sender name and reply-to address to the inSync emails sent to users.
