Delete an Active Directory mapping

Overview

When you delete an Active Directory (AD) mapping, you can choose to:

  • Delete just the AD mapping. All the users that inSync created by using this AD mapping can continue to use inSync.
  • Delete the AD mapping and disable all the users that inSync created by using this AD mapping.
  • Delete the AD mapping and delete all the users that inSync created by using this AD mapping.

Procedure

To delete an AD mapping

  1. On the inSync Master Management Console menu bar, click Manage > AD Mappings.
  2. Click the AD mapping that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete, and then click the appropriate option: 
  • If you want to delete only the AD mapping, click Delete Mapping.
  • If you want to delete the AD mapping and disable all users that inSync created by using this AD mapping, click Delete Mapping and Disable Users.
  • If you want to delete the AD mapping and delete all users that inSync created by using this AD mapping, click Delete Mapping and Delete Users.
  1. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
